Hmm.. I have most of these games, so not really buying anything, but really cool prices. Would recommend people to try out the bit trip games, they are great. Also recommended are the valve complete and the BTTF series. Steam rocks.
BTW, I kind of agree with DarkLink, Valve could have organized this better. I like them and they've some really nice games, but I still feel that with the kind of money and resources they have, they should have done a better job.
The site looks like it's getting more traffic than it can handle. Clicking practically anything gets me a 503 service unavailable error.

I was interested in picking it up, but I dunno if I can be bothered for $10. It would have been nice if it were cheaper.
If you have a pc able to handle it fully with turbo and all I'd highly reccomend it.
Get them for god's sake. they are amazing. At least get beat. or flux.Nothing interesting besides the GTA games but I think having Vice City on my PS2 is enough.
I avoided the temptation of getting the Bit.Trip games. I hope I don't regret it in the end.

I guess I should but too late since the sale is over. Maybe I'll get one of them on the last day but there are other games I want more.
everyone should pick up just cause 2 if they haven't already done solawlessx
I'm downloading the demo to see if I can even run it. Cause for $5, its pretty hard to resist.

Do you have Windows Vista/7 and a DX10 card? It won't work otherwise. 5 dollars is dirt cheap for a game so fun. I may gift it to a friend.[QUOTE="EliteM0nk3y"]

EDIT: I have DX11 actually :P
But it generally comes down to my graphics card, as its integrated. So it doesn't always work on all games.
Also KOTOR has been on sale since yesterday guys. It was the first thing I looked for.
EDIT 2: I looked at the video memory required... I can't get :( I only have 128 mb
Let's be honest with ourselves here, Steam needs to put up a better selection of games. This is a pretty weak selection so far.

wut.
Sale still has 9 days to go and it has already had some great deals. Witcher 2 for 33 bucks, Shogun 2 for 29, Just Cause 2 for 5 bucks, Borderlands GOTY for 8, Oblivion GOTY for 7, etc. They can't constantly throw up all their heavy hitters in one day. It is always like this, a few big titles a day and the rest are either older games or games like Braid or Hamilton's Great Adventure.
Today's deals for D2D
Black Ops - $40
Bad Company 2 - $10
Witcher 2 - $37.45
Bioshock - $8
Bioshock 2 - $8
World in Conflict (Gold Edition) - $10
Civilization V - $17
Borderlands GOTY Edition - $7.50
Shogun 2 - $33.49
Magicka - $6.69
Test Drive Unlimited 2 - $10
D2D will be doing deals the whole month of July. This sir is what I call good competition.
Probably going to end up getting KOTOR and maybe Empire at War. I've wanted to play both of them for a while and both of them for $7.50 is too good of a deal to pass up.
Speaking of Amazon, you can pick The Witcher 2 up for 36.99 now. If you have Amazon Prime you can get free two day shipping, or if you are patient it is eligible for Free Super Saver shipping. The digital download is that price as well if you don't care about a physical copy and want to avoid shipping.
Also, in light of these sales on the game, GOG may put The Witcher 2 on sale soon.

Just a tip: Bad Company 2 is $5 on Amazon, and Civ V is $11 at GamersGate.
Oh, and I'd hold off on the Bioshock games and Magicka - they've all gone for less and likely will go for less during this sale.
edit: also Amazon has other stuff on sale, including Amnesia for a fiver which everyone should buy
wow. well Steam had a good run
Picked up KOTR for my brother, have to invest in a controller for my computer before I buy any more. I hate playing keyboard and mouse (I know I'm a minority).
