Just bought The Witcher 2, Portal 2, Borderlands GOTY, and Garry's Mod for just over the price of 1 console game :P

Valve complete pack for 50 bucksincluding Portal 2. Few are those who don't own most of those games though.

Yah, there's a few big sales throughout the year, but for all the time in between Steam has specials such as Mid-Week Madness, Weekend Deals, and the Daily Deal which is a new thing.

Only the big deals really guarantee you'll find everything you want on sale (since like 95% of Steam games are on sale right now). The other deals are usually one game at a time, so unless you're lucky you might not see a game you want on sale all year (except the big sales of course).

Just bought The Witcher 2, Portal 2, Borderlands GOTY, and Garry's Mod for just over the price of 1 console game :P

It was already on sale this morning for $26 for about 2 hours then they had to pull it out.

The Valve Complete Pack for $50 is the best value for money in the history of gaming.

Never will you see value like that on consoles.

i might pick up the back to the future pack as well, but first ima look into some gameplay and reviews.

tempted to just pick up witcher 2 as well now, but i think i'll wait til its alot cheaper one day. maybe during the winter/holiday sale it'll go down even more. i have a couple of hundred to spend if i want on the steam sale alone. we'll see whats next. my back catalog of games is only getting bigger and its hella big already lol

Well see my problem is thus... It will be a while before I can build a new gaming pc. I built mine like 03-04 I believe, ancient... I am running an amd x1950 pro. I decided I would probably go for the xbox release later this year as I am already missing out on the graphics. Should I just buy it and run it on my old pc till i get a new one, or wait for the xbox release? I enjoy both methods of controls so thats not a big deal either way.
