Also you contradict yourself a lot in your post, by saying it has great games, does it not make it a great console? As a console can only be as good as its games (as it's primary function is to play games it is obviously doing a great job as you stated).

Finally, just because you don't want to be classified as a fanboy doesn't mean you should turn the cold shoulder to the 360 or any other console for that matter, because if that it is the case why do you even own it if it is a terrible machine as you stated? By owning it you are just making a mockery of yourself by going against what you are saying this whole time. No person in their right mind would buy something they thought was terrible....unless of course they had to thinking power (which I am sure is not true in your case).

The only reason UT3 isn't coming out on 360 isn't coming out on Dec 10th like the PS3 version is because of a dispute with user modsand MS stubborness with Xbox live closed format. Nothing to do with 360 at all.

yeah but id almost bet you wont see it last more than 10 years minimum. and i own one of those first 11 million consoles so its a worrying thing. mine does freeze a lot and make some weird noises. every now and then the disc drive sticks in and wont eject my game....i cant believe you people cant grasp this...yes i love the 360 and im completely satisfied with playing its games but the hardware is unacceptable

And shouldn't that be what people want the most from their console? Amazing games? I think the vast majority of gamers would rather take a console that doesn't have a spotless hardware record but has amazing games over a console that is nearly completely reliable and hardly any noteworthy games.

I've been hearing this getting tossed around quite a bit but its really a misconception. Take my word on this I own one and am no part of any fanboy camp. 360 is the only current gen console I own.

But lets be honest about this. The 360 simply as a console is down right terrible, maybe one of the worst ever.

The 360 is a great console. Just because you may have choose a failing system doesn't make its direct competition the worst console of all time. DVD-9 is fine, and you have no proof that it is not. And developers still use the HDD, they just have to make sure it works without one. And it is a fact that a Ethernet cord is more reliable than WI-FI, with WI-FI there is a chance something as simple as a cordless phone could mess up your connection.

Maybe the 360 is terrible in your own world, but in the one I live in it's a great console with many great games available.

Its a matter of if not when.

What ever man its not like MS ever openly admitted it but anyone who knows their history in business knows happens. Many MANY games either went 360 exclusive went ps3 exclusive to ps3/360 or went straight ps3 exclusive to 360 exclusive. MS bought those games and i dont have a problem with that at all because ill get to play all those games but no one can honestly say the 360 is great physical hardware
