Ok, i strongly disagrees with you.

Yes the reliability suck, and alot of the extra flair is available as add-on. But look at the bare console. It's one FULL year older then it's competitor, cheaper at launch (still is) and can still keep up visualy. It's alot easier to program for, helping the developers out alot. And when the console itself is estimated by specialist to cost about ½ of what its competitors console cost to produce (don't even BEGIN to talk about development), which only gives it small pros and alot more hazzle for developers, i think you would have to agree that its cost/benefit is so much greater.

i disagree TC, the 360 is a great console because it has great games. u can have the best hardware in the world with every feature under the sun, but if theres no games worth playing then its a poor games machine. games make the console, not features and fluff.osan0

No it the 360 has great games. Not the 360 is great console. Thats consider a weak opinion because its so faulty and your forced to by addons.

Sorry, I had taco bell, actually I KNOW the 360 has top notch games, they are already out, there is still time for the flopstation to continue to live up to its name, with continued first party flops

And there are PLENTY of games i the future to look foward to for the 360

Not trying to be a fanboy or anything here ;) But 9imagine if MS did not make the 360 but still made its games, then we would have a RELIABLE console AND loads of games. But if MS made a console and sony did not, we would have a console with a huge faliure rate with loads of games.

The fact is the ps3 is building up its library of good games, and with all the exclusives being promised it will keep gaining exclusives, they are begining to look better and with some of thye stuff we are seeing of killzone 2 and other games it looks like the ps3 will be the best for aming. It may not get all the sales but it will produce the best games. Soon it will come to a point here the point 'the ps3 has no games' ill be non-existant. And then we will have 2 consoles, both with great games but one thats faulty. I know which one I would prefer.

But then again I own a 360 aswell and I have had no problems. I do think that it could be down to not giving the console enough room to ventilate. Hopefully MS will make the console more reliable, but I do still think the console may fall short of the ps3 due to its lack of HDD, large disk space and its lack of power.

But we will just have to wait and see. I could be wrong...

I think the Xbox360 is the best system. Blue ray and HD DVD are both going to fail ( down-loadable content is the way of the future), and to be honest I could care less about being able to watch a movie on a game machine. Xbox Live is better than any online the Wii or PS3 has to offer. And as of right new the game library for the 360 SLAUGHTERS any other system's. And when it comes down to it games are the only thing that matter.

However the 360 is a piece of junk when it comes to reliability, I will give you that. I just sent my in for repairs for the second time.

Compared to the other 2 consoles, the X360 is better where it counts... games. Besides, I have 2 X360 consoles (1 at launch and the other a year after launch) and neither one has given me any problems.

More to the point, my 2nd X360 gets more playtime than my PS3..... thats how bad the situation is....... buy hey, atleast I rented and beat Uncharted (made me feel a little better about the PS3... perhaps theres still hope).

Yes basically anyone who has any capacity to think and has some decent knowledge of the 360 and its short history can agree that it sucks as a system, but the game lineup is amazing but that has nothing to do with the hardware it self. THANK THE DEVS!!

But the hardware design is part of what makes it so attractive for the DEVS to make games for it. So in that sense it is a great console. You need to be a bit more specific when saying the console isn't great. The hardware has defects, but the hardware design makes developing for it easy. So some of the phyical hardwareisn't greatbut the design is great.

What exclusives did they buy?

A company that pays $50 million for "exclusive dlc", $120 million to a movie studio to drop the competitor's format while their own fans dont get a thing in return... No corporation cares is an angel, but MS is one of the most aggressive so you can rest assured they bought many exclusives.
