lol, you know just like any person who is a PC gamer knows, they got it digitally though steam or some other online retailer. Now it's you who is trying to feign ignorance as to not answer the questions truthfully but it kind of pointless since anyone and everyone who plays PC knows how these things work in 2015.
lol you are the one making the claim that "casual" gamers are running advanced games on PC but now you claim not to know where they get even the most basic of games; never mind the more complex ones? Do you even PC game Bro? If you are going to go on a rant about "lying" then you should at least not be dishonest when answering questions when you seem so passionate about it.
Secondly, It's not my job to prob the brain of the cooperate execs for why they do what ever they do as it would just be speculation, but my best guess would be to, I don't know, protect their investment??? lol you do know Sony helped fund Street Fighter V right? I don't know what you were thinking but It's only logical that Sony make sure that people know that their console is the only one that SFV will be available on since they helped to pay for it. That dose nothing to diminish the fact that a PC version exists nor is it an attempt to make any such claim, but this is all going off the subject of what I asked you and really deflection.
Again, you said Sony is trying to fool people, but any person who is a PC gamer, be it enthusiast or the "casuals" running advanced games like you mention all konw they get games thru digital services. So I ask you, unless someone had no intention to game on PC, who would this "fool"?

Questions
Do you not think the casual consumer knows what a "PC" is?
also
If you are talking about "casual" consumers, are you saying you expect them to be PC gamers with gaming PCs that could play Street Fighter V and that this labeling might fool them?
A casual consumer knows what a PC is, but they don't necessarily know that Street Fighter V is also on PC.
The idea that there are no casuals that play on PCs that can run advanced games is a myth. I know plenty of casuals that played stuff like Skyrim on their PCs.
Cool, so...where do they buy their games?
Don't know, don't care. I'm just saying that not every person that plays on PC is a gaming enthusiast.
Let me ask you a question: if Sony wasn't counting on the game seeming like an exclusive, why would they even bother with this label?
'lol, you know just like any person who is a PC gamer knows, they got it digitally though steam or some other online retailer.'
Not at all, they still sell Pc games on disk or they sell the box in stores with a download code instead of a disk, not all Pc gamer get there games digitally, how could they when Digital games on PC are only 92%of the games sold on Pc are digital, there still nearly 10% of Pc gamers who buy physical copies.
To say that they all buy digital is misleading
'gamers are running advanced games on PC but now you claim not to know where they get even the most basic of games'
Or maybe he just doesn't care, do you actually make a point of asking all your friends where they buy there games? pretty weird if you do
'protect their investment??? lol you do know Sony helped fund Street Fighter V right? I don't know what you were thinking but It's only logical that Sony make sure that people know that their console is the only one that SFV will be available on since they helped to pay for it.'
Yet you all slagged off MS and lems for the same policy last gen with no mention that they may have been protecting there investment.
You know, games like left4dead and the witcher 2 that MS put up the funds for the console ports.
anyway, i digress.
firstly, console exclusive is misleading.
Secondly, all you Cows defending this policy should jog on after the big fuss you made about MS and lems claiming console exclusivity last gen.
yah, i remember, cows like you saying there was no such thing as a console exclusive and MS where misleading people when lems bought up games like Left4dead and the witcher 2 and saying it didn't count as a bonus for the 360 against the Ps3 because you could also play it on PC.
You lot have ZERO credibility defending a policy that you previously complained about.
Funny thing is a agreed with you lot last gen, there is no such thing as a console exclusive because, quite frankly, there is no such thing as a console exclusive in my opinion.
Thirdly, you pretty much just proved the point i was making earlier, you said it yourself, in the real world 'console exclusive' has no real purpose Beyond being Argument fodder for sites like this one.
But i get this site, it's ok to be a hypocrite if it suits your own personal agenda, it beggars belief that i see people on here defending a policy that they tried to tear to pieces last gen.
Bit like paying to play online, Cows where vehemently against it last gen, accused MS of ripping everyone off and called lems stupid for paying it yet they are fine with it now apparently it's ok now.
I guess all cows must be as stupid as they claimed lems to be eh.
