Street Fighter V is godly...

Just played it. Minus the missing modes, the actual gameplay and visual are insane.

How can a game be godly yet be missing a bunch of features/modes and have performance issues online? Perhaps you should rephrase the title to something more fitting?

Indeed bro. The game is sick! It will dominate EVO and the FGC for years to come. Once the missing arcade mode and SP content arrive people will forget it launched in a barebones state and forgive Capcom because it's an incredible fighting game.

Kinda ugly for an UE4 game. Blocky fingers in a game where it zooms in on your character all the time? I'm sure it plays well if you're into SF but the graphics are nothing to brag about.

pretty much this. It looks like a half evolved version of SF4. but without trials, arcade, and a fraction of the characters.

It reminds me of when lems defended Titanfall with their lives despite it having no content all because it was "console exclusive". This is the same exact situation. If those 2 games were full multiplats they would be universally destroyed like Destiny, Evolve and Battlefront are.

I'm disappointed in the PC port though. I'm suspicious about the developer and Sony with this game. Graphics are good, but they're no where good enough for the minimum spec requirements (760) they claim the game needs to run at 60fps.

I think Sony are trying to make the game less accessible on the PC, so the market stays bigger on the PS4. In reality most should be able to run this really really well easily considering what a 750Ti has proven it self capable of with the Crysis games and Arkham Knight.

True, that's why xbox fanboys have lost their shit over this game. Deep down they know that game is beyond fantastic regardless of extra "modes" it's a better "game" than most that have released this gen.

lems are always quick to cry and scream about gameplay when trying to criticize playstation games, yet SFV 5 arguably has better gameplay than any xbox one game released this gen. Fact is the only reason the game didn't get straight 9's and 10's across the board on every website on the net is because it was missing traditional modes but they all could not help but worship the brilliance of the virtually flawless and addictive gameplay.

No matter how haters cry, scream, scratch and claw SFV is going to be the default fighter of the gen because of it's brilliant gameplay and it's going to sell games and systems regardless of their phony ethics complaint campaign.

If lems cared about ethics why didn't they complain and boycott XBL when it was nothing a pay to play online service and all others were free and why did they support MS during xbox one's reveal? TitanFall lack of content? or MCC broken for months? but now these guys are acting like they actually stand up for something? lol yea not buying it.

The graphics are good but I expected better to be honest. The background is 30 fps too. It's a fighting game it should look incredible on current Gen. There isn't much to render besides characters and backgrounds. They chose the wrong engine.

Also the online works perfectly now, only took...2 days as opposed to 4-5 months.

@naughtyottsel: Titanfall had a Wealth of modes, it also works online. SFV has literally no modes outside of online 1v1 and a crappy 3 player fight "story mode", it's an absolute abomination, I don't care how good the gameplay is, if there's no way to play it.

Just think, in about a year, and for the low, low price of like $180, you'll be able to enjoy a somewhat similar to the last version game with average graphics.

You can repeat it all you want but I've yet to see a review call it a mess. SW is funny. No one wants to admit negatives for their brand nor positives for the other. From what I've read vis a vis reviews...it's a solid game such as it is. High 70s are not a mess. Try again.

Actually, it has both of those things. Granted the story mode is absolutely terrible, but versus is there for whenever you want to bring a friend over and duke it out the old fashioned way.

So Street Fighter V is a perfectly working masterpiece for Sony Fanboys and for the rest of us it's an unfinished rushed out not working piece of crap

This. I'll pick up the eventual Ultra/Super version of the game with all the DLC and characters. And even if this version doesn't come out, I'll be speaking with my wallet first and foremost on the bullshit tactics that Capcom is pulling.

I didn't put up with Nintendo's bullshit for Splatoon and they're my goat, certainly won't let Capcom slide with this trash.

@NathanDrakeSwag: Titanfall had like 12 different online modes, and a ( crappy) online campaign. It also worked on launch day. I also bought it for like 25 dollars. It didn't feel barebones. If it did you can make Damn sure I would have tore it a new one too. I don't care what it comes out for. The difference is Titanfall was just missing a single player campaign, SFV is missing the most basic of modes that no fighter was ever released without.

Unfinished and rushed out? Absorutery. But the game and its online work just fine. That is just misinformation right there.

This is becoming my biggest issue with this whole debacle. The backlash with the lack of content is causing people to seriously undermine the game's strengths. While it may it extremely hard to believe for some of you, it does indeed have strengths.

It definitely didn't have 12 at launch. We're comparing these games in their launch state. Not Titanfall 2 years later vs SFV day 1.

5 playlists and no campaign for a $60 FPS is as barebones as it gets. Not to mention the graphics were complete dogshit so there was no justifying that price tag.
