I would not be surprised that people will abuse the new rules in a way on this forum that GameSpot may regret having them and revert back to the old rules. We may have to see.

It's true. System Wars is so much more fun when you're the focus of hate. The past two weeks in the Zelda thread were the highlight of my forum career. It's time for a break, though. I'm not sure if I'll ever be able to top that incredible thread.

Trolling is not about insults. It's about professing an opinion that infuriates a large group of people. Most trolls express stupid or ignorant views, but the best trolls are sincere trolls. See: Blackbond I got Zelda a week early and gave my (negative) impressions on the game as I played through it. Hate was pretty legendary as defensive fanboys were hyping it Game of the Decade and the fanboys became even more ruffled when the 7.5 finally rolled in.
I think its amazing to be able tell someone what you think of him and be rude about it (long live the internetz!:P).Freedom of speech and all.
