@mesome713: Yeah man, you basically just said it's too hard to git gud. :P Which is a valid personal reason for not wanting to play it, but that's not the game's fault.

I understand there is a learning curve, and there's much more nuance to learn compared to Bayonetta, but that's part of why it's so good. The game doesn't hold your hand, it just says here, go nuts.

It's not perfect, the shmup sections are crap, and the gamepad is forced in certain sections, but it's got an incredibly charming, colorful aesthetic and the action is bat shit crazy.

I beat this game yesterday and it was a bit weird because the game plays like Street Fighter II.

The combat relies on hit-box like a fighting game, you can cancel combos into specials like in a fighting game and boss fights rely a lot on invisibility frames, footsies and matchups just like if it were a fighting game. And yes the specials are pulled off with dragon punch and fireball kind of motions.

Watching season 5 of TWD. Glenn has been through so much I'm surprised he can still smile at times or even remain Sane.

@mems_1224: Same. Arrow is kinda wearing me down, as Laurel continues to annoy the hell out of me as the Black Canary. Her dad isn't much better, and Diggle's lame-ass helmet and drawn out drama is just old hat.

In comparison, The Flash's cast gets better and better. I'm digging the addition of Jay Garrick.

Yea, Flash started out really weak and boring to me and I gave up around episode 10. I finished the first season last week and caught up on the new season this weekend and it got a lot better. The first season ended really strong.

@mems_1224: I was in a similar boat for the beginning of season 1, but I stuck with it. Season 2 is building up nicely, and Zoom is looking like a big reveal. They just seem to be nailing the superhero show a lot better than Arrow and it's melodrama at the moment.

Getting an xbox one today since I found a great deal on a 1tb console. At least I can install and download all the games I'm getting now instead of doing it once university is over for the semester since I only have a 15mb internet connection right now.Mostly sticking to physical games(besides the games I will be getting in the bundle) for now because of my data cap which is 150mb per month. I also get a free game with the bundle.

Thinking about playing Fallout New Vegas again.

I was looking up the PS4 price of Fallout 4 for the Canadian Bestbuy and Gamestop, to make a comparison to PC pricing. And I am floored that it actually costs $80. $80 FUCKING dollars. And it's not just FO4, but pretty much ALL new titles - Tomb Raider, Halo 5, AC Syndicate, and so on. At the beginning of the gen, most new releases here were $70 over the $60 US price tag.

But now it's actually come to this?? Seriously?? What gives? Are new releases in US now $70? When I saw the best price for FO4 CDkey was $61 CDN, I thought that was still steep. I just didn't realize that retail/console prices went up by this much. So glad I went PC.

I really do hate that we have to pay that much for games.The last major game I bought that I had to pay anywhere near that was splatoon and that game cost like $70.(but I actually only payed $60 for it since I preordered it). It's all in the strength of our dollar being in the shitter. It's a big reason why I tend to preorder a shitload around E3, when the deals bring them back down to a semi-reasonable price.

What I keep wondering is; is the new standard release price in US $70? Is this a combination of our exchange rate and a rising cost in the market in general?

A few people chimed in, but is anyone else having an issue with Thread Pagination in the Forums? This has been going on for a couple days for me now, and it's really making navigating the site and having conversations with people impossible. I'm curious how many people are just dealing with it.

Started Fallout 4. Haven't played enough to properly judge everything, but so far the visuals are inconsistent and the dialogue choices (descriptions more like it) are garbage.

For a lot of threads, the listings are showing only 1 page. Very frustrating.

In all seriousness, very annoying issue and I'm glad to see it's not a problem on my end. Regarding notifications, I was able to check my notifications and be taken to the message when on mobile, but not working at all on any computer I'm using, whether it's an iMac, Macbook Pro, or PC. Same goes for the forum pagination listing, plus mobile.

I hope it's resolved soon because it's quite the slog to do this every time and not worth the effort to hang around and converse. Might as well check back in once a day to see if it's fixed.
