Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead today. Appears to have been drug related but nothing confirmed. He was a great actor so he'll be missed; always terrible to see drugs taking lives like this.

The only time I've cared about the draft was last year when Eddie Lacy was drafted.

I live and breathe football, so I enjoy the draft very much. Record it and watch it live when I can and monitor the first two rounds in their entirety.

That's probably it but until the autopsy I wasn't just going to go ahead and assume. The report of a syringe and bag of heroine was from one of the police officers instead of an official report; facts could be skewed. :P Probably drug use though.

Hadn't he been in rehab before? And if you are found dead with an envelope full of heroine and a needle in your arm....you weren't looking very hard for help.

The article I read said he had been, and then this past summer he had gone back for like, ten days? I dunno, something like that. I've never partaken in drugs before nor do I have the lifestyle Hoffman had so I won't assume one way or another how hard he was trying to rid his addiction. I've enjoyed his work though and it is disappointing that we won't get to see more.

But this.... this... I mean of all the people they could have cast to be Lex Luthor, among the most iconic literary villains, and they chose.... Jesse Eisenberg???? Seriously???

WTF????? >:| >:|

Don't get me wrong, I respect him as an actor from his accomplishment in the Social network, but like Gal Gadot, he just isn't the right fit for Lex Luthor. I don't think he can deliver an imposing megalomaniac and damn, he is way way too young for the part.

I swear, it's like the casting director is going out of his/her way to insult the fans. The more I see of these casting decisions, the more faith I lose in something very near and dear to me, something I was greatly anticipating :(:(:(

Now I know that Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad) was a highly popular choice. But I still want to throw something out there - Clancy Brown. He was the main villain in the original Highlander movie, and for those who might not know, he also voiced Lex in the old Superman animated series that proceeded Batman's from the 90s. And this followed into the Justice League cartoons. He has been the voice for several years, but has anyone actually seen him? Take a look.

yep, here's the guy who breathed life into the character for a long time (after Gene Hackman that is) and if you shave his head, he has the right look too. So here you'd have someone who fans will recognize by voice, and now can have a familiar look as well. Plus from his experience, he encapsulates the attitude and inherit traits of the icon. Clancy would really get my vote on this.

Oh and getting back to Wonderwoman, and I still can't buy Gal as the Amazon warrior, it just hot me yesterday who would be perfect for that part. It was while I was re-watching the John Carter movie, and seeing Dejah Thoris. And this practically is another version of WW, she's fierce, determined, sexy, kicks ass 3 ways to sunday... everything you'd expect from WW.

So I present Lynn Collins :) :)

Now HERE is a lady who is gorgeous, and not just generally but also with the right look reflecting the comics, and we know can pull off the physicality of the Amazon warrior. I can't believe I didn't think of this sooner :P

Buuuuuut, instead we're going to get the most mismatched cast thrown together, and my dream is dead :( :( :(

last night i watched the movie 'Outbreak' from 1995. its got some big names in it, like kevin spacey, dustin hoffman, and morgan freeman.

i thought it was a very good film. hoffman plays an army scientist whose overriding desire is to help and protect his fellow man. morgan freeman is a more 'by the books' military character, and the clash between the two characters is very believable. you can sense an internal struggle from freeman's character as he clearly understand's hoffman's moral high ground ... yet the military have their own protocols which must be adhered to.

the plot of the film follows their countermeasures against a new type of virus which has made its way to the united states. finding the source of the virus is central to developing countermeasures.

seriously, a really good film. towards the end there were some real tear jerking moment. its not often i go as high as 9/10, but i'd give outbreak a 9/10.

I've never been a big believer in the second screen, but now that I'm giving Assassin's Creed 4 it's proper dues, I'm really digging the companion app.

Havn't been on since last night, but I'm looking forward to picking up a lot of material and about 10k in cash from Kenway's Fleet next time I load it up.

Please excuse the poor lighting, stupid apartments always rely on you having lamps in the living room and the flash from my iPhone reflected a lot more than I had hoped.

So I'm a big fan of all the Batman sets and I've been trying to get all the minifigures I can. I was really happy with the scene I created using them all so I wanted to showcase it. :P This set, the Funhouse Duo Escape, was the set to finally get me a Joker minifig as well as the minifig for Harley Quinn who my fiancé adores.

Still need a few of the villains, like Scarecrow, Penguin, Ivy, and Two-Face, but I'm really happy with the stage I have. Considered putting Superman Next set to get is the Arkham Asylum Breakout which is based off the video game; quite a bit more spendy but an awesome set! I also have Commissioner Gordon, who isn't pictured, Superman and General Zod; I just couldn't figure out how they fit in this scene.

Minifigures on display: Catwoman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Joker, Bane, Batman, Man-Bat, Robin, The Riddler, Aquaman, Mr. Freeze.

Nice set. Seeing this REALLY has me wanting to see The Lego Movie that much more.

I'm happy that the casting director decided not to go the obvious route by getting Bryan Cranston--but whenever I see Jesse Eisenberg, despite his performance in The Social Network, I see two things:

1. The goofy kid from Zombieland ("He's Lex F*cking Luthor?! Seriously?!" was my first reaction.

2. The one people cast when Michae Cera has unable to do the role. "Cera's busy? Get his stunt double whatshisname...Michael Cera Light!"

I do like your alternates as opposed to who Warner Bros. casts so far--although I do like that Jeremy Irons is in it.

That wasn't the case. I lost a family member. Tabby told me about users leaving.

You got a lot of Zelda games?

I haven't completed the first dungeon in the new one. O.o

Yeah you missed out, sorry. :( I loved the rc, I used to spend like 99% of my GS time in that topic. There still are nice people there, like john and leon if you get know them. I'll help you :o

Super sorry to hear that. Yeah seems that nearly everyone left.

Hmm... I have Windwaker, OoT the 3DS remake and on my N64, also have MM and Twilight Princess. I want the new one.
Please tell me about it, if you get the chance to play it more.

Just read that they scrapped the film in favor of the 12 episode run, due to budget reasons, and Sutherland's schedule. If this pulls in strong ratings--I imagine it should--I can see them entertaining the idea of a theatrical release again.

Yeah. There are some loud minorities when it comes to this kind of stuff. The Indian Miss America was also a thing too.

If anything will ruin the Batman/Superman movie it'll be them cramming 600 different characters into it.

@2ndwonder: to tell you the truth I thought the people there didn't like me being around. well everyone except you and tabby. :c

It's difficult losing someone you love.

For some reason I thought you'd have more Zelda games. I own all the main games, and some of the spin offs. Also ended up buying the XL bundle. :p

I will whenever I continue playing it.

@The_Last_Ride: I have a feeling that movie will flop hard. Thankfully we already have an awesome Batman trilogy to remember!

I think it's a bit too early to predict that just yet. I don't think it'll bomb completely, but they got quite a way to go before they will make Avengers type of box office. I got a feeling it'll seriously underperform to their expectations--enough to be just financially successful, but not enough to warrant another sequel.

Looking at how Microsoft is approaching the Xbox One, I have to wonder if my IP auction prediction holds any water.

Finally finish ACIV, definitely my favorite Assassin's Creed game so far.

And now I'm even more hyped for ACV.

Finished Link Between Worlds, man that game was awesome. That soundtrack was just so epic, and I thoroughly enjoyed how the game got right to the point. Really excited with the direction and momentum the series is going in. I also just got Persona 4 Golden in the mail, stoked to start that as well
