Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor in the Batman/Superman movie? Angry Joe has gone mad about it.

Has anyone else had this problem with PS4?
When I first got it, I downloaded pretty much everything from PSN+, and the first few games downloaded like usual, but after the first few, every time I try to download something, either a game or an update, it says "Cannot Download".
Its sitting here saying there is 27 hours left to download an 832mb patch for Call of Duty, and then it says Cannot download. Dafuq? There is also no other active downloads, and Ive tried everything, shutting off the PS4, etc...
Yeah I've gotten those "cannot download" notifications a few times as well. PSN downloads have always been inconsistent to say the least. Sometimes they're very fast and sometimes they are lifeless.

I'm not really sure what to think about it, but for the most part staying optimistic. I greatly enjoyed Man of Steel, and the potential of this sequel has me extremely excited.
That being said, Eisenberg is a different choice that leaves me wondering how he'll be used. His quick speech pattern gives him the opportunity to appear incredibly intelligent and quick-witted, but at first thought he doesn't appear like he would be too intimidating to Affleck's Batman or Cavill's Superman. Then again, Luthor is a mental foe, so... yeah.
This is why I'm not sure what to think. :P
EDIT: Also, in before the comment, "we wanted Heisenberg, not Eisenberg." UGH.

I don't see it at all. I like Jesse Eisenberg, but I just don't see it.

I'm with you Phazon. I have no idea on how Eisenberg is a perfect match as Lex in Snyder's mind.
Just started Dark Souls yesterday. Hope I enjoy it more than Demon's Souls. I should like it more since, unlike Demon's Souls' soul mode, my total health doesn't get cut in half when I go into Dark Souls' hollow mode.

Never played Demon, but you better enjoy Dark Souls. You aren't a gamer if you don't. :P

My gaming life depends on this. I will finish Dark Souls if it takes me 100 hours!

There will be moments where you think "ah hell no" when you see a big guy coming your way. Since you played Demon, I'm guessing you already know how frightening big things are haha.
I'm still working through my SMT runs. I'm at Kenji as of now, and just did a test fight on him. Didn't end too well since I was using a couple weaker demons in my group, and I forgot his weaknesses all of a sudden, but at least I know them now.
Game is one of the most addicting things ever imo.

Yeah, I remember seeing something big and nasty looking, going "Nope," and then turning around and, most of the time, hauling ass so as to not get caught and one-shotted.

You're making me want to play it again haha. Too bad last time I played that GFWL thing messed with me since my internet sucks. I don't have my other console copy any more.
Then again... isn't GFWL dead now? Maybe it won't screw up randomly any more.
@super600: I'm going to give you a hint, try reading what I've been typing. I'm normally nice, but dammit your reading comprehension skills are completely lacking. Go back, and read what I said in my previous posts, then answer, if not, then don't bother.

I know what you are talking about and don't worry about SW.A solution to the troll problem is being worked on.

I tried to enjoy Man of Steel, I really did. It wasn't a horrible movie, it wasn't even a bad one. What it was to me, was a disappointing one. It felt way too bleak for my tastes, and and having Pa Kent try to convince Clark not to use his powers for fear of being shunned in society, just didn't seem right. Not every comic book movie needs to be bright and have tons of humor to it, but I always thought that Superman always gave people that sense of optimism or hope--and Man of Steel just didn't have that.
With that said, the more I read about this follow-up, I got a feeling this movie is either going to surprise its naysayers, or just wind up being one hell of a hot mess. I don't think there's to to be any middle ground whatsoever.

I completely understand a lot of people's criticisms for the movie, and I do love your outlook on the fact that there was a severe lack of "hope" in Man of Steel; I adored how bleak things seemed at times but you are absolutely right that Superman stands for hope for the people and we didn't necessarily get it.
I'm hoping for it to surprise the naysayers. :P I'm so pumped to see Batman and Superman duking it out, but these choices make me wonder how much they are going to cram in/are they focusing on the right priorities. They have a plan, I hope it works out. More great films, the better.

It makes me wonder if in fact, they do have a long term plan for their film franchises or even their TV projects. Given that they announced including Wonder Woman in this project BEFORE giving her a proper solo film, it makes we wonder if DC/Warner Bros. is thinking things through, or just throwing darts at a board listed with characters and actors and saying "Let's go with it." If this movie tanks, any chance of a proper WW movie is going out the window.
As far as their TV projects, the upcoming series for Fox called Gotham, was initially supposed to focus on Commissioner Gordon and the members of the Gotham PD as they protect the city from crime, both street level and supervillains. That alone is an interesting premise for a show, and is fresh take on characters that wouldn't normally get the spotlight. Now, the network announced in a press conference recently that it's shifting the focus to a young Bruce Wayne and the origins of Batman's villains. Instead of taking a chance, they essentially are playing it safe by turning it into the Gotham version of Smallville with Batman as the star.
Maybe DC has some sort of plan, but I'm not seeing it just yet.
oh man, i'm going to really miss blabadon. whatever he did to get banned, im sure he had sw's best interests at heart.

Yup that killed the movie for me, first it was Affleck as Batman and now they cast a none Bryan Cranston Luthor. Yup that movie is gonna suck and it's not even remotely close to being made/filmed.
I was honestly looking forward to that movie but not anymore.....
People shat on Heath Ledger when he was cast as The Joker and he blew everyone away, so I'm nowhere near ready to dismiss Affleck and Eisenberg. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm a big Affleck fan despite some of his stinkers.
Ah sweet weekend. Time to continue my playthrough of Secret of Mana. I configured the AI to be support characters so they don't die as often wen we're fighting normal enemies.
I passed that tiger boss that everybody seemed to have a hard time on, without dying at all. I discovered that that fire ball-thing that he spits out has a certain range, so every time he jumped up on one of those towers i kept my distance, and every time he jumped down i got a couple of hits on him. If that was a glitch, then that was a welcome glitch. Ofcourse, my AI companions died, but whatever.
If that was the hardest boss, the rest of them are going to be a breeze. Really enjoying the gorgeous artstyle and great soundtrack.

Good deal man, I'm about to start up another play through as well as soon as I finish up Terranigma (my first play on that one). It's funny because I never thought Secret of Mana was great, but I've always had a soft spot for it for some reason.
And yeah, the art and especially the music hold up well. I always thought this song had the tightest beat. Simple, but still cool as hell.

Exactly the same here. Didn't like the combat or the broken AI, but that artstyle and music.. always had an itch to get into the game and finish it, and i'm glad i'm giving it attention. I learn that if i use my characters as support (give them range weapons, and config. the AI to be farther away from the enemies through the ACT. menu) they aren't that much of a bother. The combat isn't.. something i like as a whole, but it's fun if you hit, run/move around/hit again, and the multitude of weapons i can find is keeping things interesting.
And i absolutely love the fact that there are no random encounters, that is always a plus in my book. Thank God for that.
Overall, i think it's a flawed, but great game worth playing nontheless. I don't think it's top 5 material, but one of the many great - excellent JRPGs worth playing on the SNES.
I only played one dungeon of Terranigma like a year ago to try it out, and i thought it was brilliant. The puzzles, the combat, the weird story, everything. Terranigma is going to be my second game to finish after beating SoM.
I hate not having my video card. I want to play Rome 2 but I can't. Hopefully the RMA process moves quicker. :(
@hallenbeck77: Long time, no see.
Same here. Life outside the site has been keeping me away, but I try to pop in every other day or so.
Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon ended the only way it could.
With it's 80's showing, while all the shit exploded. And it was glorious.
Saw Lone Survivor today, pretty good movie.

What GPU is it?
EVGA GTX 480. I'm glad I had a Lifetime Warranty on it; a few more months and I would have been on year 4 with this thing. Just waiting on the Maxwell before I jump in and upgrade the GPU.
Ahahaha it is a glorious day, the GTX 660 has finally dropped to a price I'm willing to shell out the monies to upgrade my PC. Now all I need is the monies...
I think Clyde moves out tomorrow, any of you New Leafers want him?
Would he be able to help the mayor with building a rig?

Hmm, nice set up for the support characters, I'll have to give that a shot. And yeah, no random battles is great!
Terranigma is cool, reminds of of SoM in a lot of ways. I'm not too far into it yet, but so far it's a lot of fun.

Yeah, I hear a decent rig can cost upwards of 10,000 bells!

not you, the other Clyde lol
Please excuse the poor lighting, stupid apartments always rely on you having lamps in the living room and the flash from my iPhone reflected a lot more than I had hoped.
So I'm a big fan of all the Batman sets and I've been trying to get all the minifigures I can. I was really happy with the scene I created using them all so I wanted to showcase it. :P This set, the Funhouse Duo Escape, was the set to finally get me a Joker minifig as well as the minifig for Harley Quinn who my fiancé adores.
Still need a few of the villains, like Scarecrow, Penguin, Ivy, and Two-Face, but I'm really happy with the stage I have. Considered putting Superman Next set to get is the Arkham Asylum Breakout which is based off the video game; quite a bit more spendy but an awesome set! I also have Commissioner Gordon, who isn't pictured, Superman and General Zod; I just couldn't figure out how they fit in this scene.
Minifigures on display: Catwoman, The Flash, Harley Quinn, Nightwing, Joker, Bane, Batman, Man-Bat, Robin, The Riddler, Aquaman, Mr. Freeze.
