Didnt get any games yet, because I didnt have time today, and they would have taken too long to get here if I ordered them online. Tomorrow I plan to get:
Tomb Raider: DE
Assassins Creed 4: Black Flag
and either COD: Ghosts or Battlefield 4 (or both).

I hardly think Blab deciding to have some fun with moderators (who are users on this site just like everyone else) by sending them funny PMs is grounds for him to be banned. Meanwhile, the front page of System Wars is flooded with crap topics, alt accounts, and senseless trolling.
Of course you should. The greatest of games are always calling back to us.
It's the Peace Walker buzz that's doing it. The game's so great, but its level design and execution of its ideas pull it back. I know that if I were to take a look at PW's core "building MSF" mechanics, they'd be pretty shallow, but it's still fun to run and tranq through thanks to dual analog sticks on the Vita.
I highly disagree about the "One game for the rest of your life" (or whatever the question was) where you said Peace Walker btw. The game's level design and missions simply aren't good enough for me to agree.
Usually playing Metal Gear always leads me to play another Metal Gear. That game usually ends up being either Metal Gear AC!D or AC!D 2 as its card system encompasses all Metal Gear lore up until the release of AC!D/AC!D 2. It compliments whatever mainline MGS I'm playing nicely.
You're right, the Mother Base mechanic isn't terribly deep but it's fun trying to seek soldiers with the best stats and skills to make MB as efficient as possible which leads to better gear and equipment. Building and customizing Metal Gear ZEKE is fun as well.
Oh that was about a console game that had as much replayability as Total War: Rome II. As much as I love Peace Walker (and it's insane replayablity) that wouldn't be the "one game for the rest of your life"

Yeah, this stuff is fun as hell. Props to Kojima for taking a chance on the PSP even in 2010. I feel bad for shitting on how deep it may be, MSF building is so damn fun. It just doesn't always remain addictive with how cryptic things can seem, how often items are just useless, and how easily GMP comes about. That and a few gameplay issues (not pausing the game while switching the weapons/items was a braindead idea, 2/3 slot-switch be damned). Still, I love this game.
How are MGA? Fun fact, the first was the very first game I bought for my PSP. I just never got into the game since I was much more of a rash brogamer back in the day.
It's absolutely great. It's pretty complex at first and has a lot of depth. Mixing turn based strategy and stealth with a "trading card" based combat and movement system actually works a lot better than it sounds. Plus collecting and using cards that span the Metal Gear lore (and a few other Kojima Pro titles) is a treat. Nothing like using Cyborg Ninja to take out that pesky patrolling guard that you can't sneak past.

Wii U (lol) (for SM3DW, and NSMB/NSLB)
I will get a Bone probably during the holidays if the rumors are true ($400, white BONE, + Quantum Break, Horizons 2, Sunset Overdrive, Halo, etc)
Still not even sure about that order. I might even build a PC with a R9 290 card. Only thing I am certain of, is that I will own all next gen consoles within the next year, and a Vita.

Wait, so he got banned for sending PMs? It would be nice to see the mods actually ban some of the users who are ruining this board.
Really dissappointed that you cant use the DualShock 4 with the PS3, without having it plugged in (unfortunate due to the 5 foot cord they give you), and when you do, rumble doesnt work, etc.
I hope Sony patches in full DS4 support for PS3 (assuming its possible, and that they use the same wireless protocols) , because I really want to play The Last of Us multiplayer, with a controller that doesnt suck. It also doesnt help that my DualShock 3 is broken anyways (d-pad goes haywire and registers random rapid button presses, along with L1, and the left analogue, etc).
Either that, or port The Last of Us: GOTY Edition to PS4.
I've already paid for the season pass, yet I would STILL double dip.

That doesn't explain the other part of my comment (though I wouldn't expect you to address that). What happened to that 3 strike rule that was put in place? Doesn't really seem to be doing the job to be honest.
Not really, blab has been kind of a jerk lately to a lot of posters. Don't know why he changed so much this past year or so. If he crossed the line somewhere then I guess he had to pay the price.
I just wish GS would moderate the right people, and by that I mean the posters who do nothing but troll with one-liner responses and never add anything worthy to the community.
The later levels in Super Mario 3D World are kicking my zass but I feel like I'm getting so close to completing the game.
And I imagine it's pretty difficult to get a moderation now, let alone a ban. Must have been on the last strike for Blabadon; his presence on SW will be missed. Curious if the ToU were to change due to people's criticisms if his account would be resurrected. Eh, politics, amirite?

Yup that's the main reason I barely even post here, the senseless trolling and the stupid topics just make up over half of the SW forum is just...I don't even. GD I miss the old SW, when you could actually get in a logical debate but now and days it's full of alt accounts and stupid "Titanfail will be the best FPS EVA" threads.

Also, I held an Xbox One controller for the first time today. The controller both looks and feels ALOT better in person than it LOOKS like it does in pictures. I was surprised actually. I would put the DS4 and the XB1 controller exactly equal. It is a better build quality than the 360 controller, thats for sure.
I expected it to be much worse, because literally every picture (press photo, or reguardless) of the controller on the internet makes it look incredibly unflattering. MS should really fire their advertising team for that. Also, Forza 5 was better than I expected it to be, and I dont even care about driving sims.
When I first got it, I downloaded pretty much everything from PSN+, and the first few games downloaded like usual, but after the first few, every time I try to download something, either a game or an update, it says "Cannot Download".
Its sitting here saying there is 27 hours left to download an 832mb patch for Call of Duty, and then it says Cannot download. Dafuq? There is also no other active downloads, and Ive tried everything, shutting off the PS4, etc...

I loved the Xbox One controller when I held it at a Walmart recently; only problem I had with the controller was the bumpers. They felt off to me. While the rest of the controller was sleek and smooth, rounded, I then found myself having trouble with the mechanical nature of them. Eh, haven't heard anyone else complain so must just be a first hands-on sort of thing.

And I haven't had the issue. :S I've had to restart them in the download section a couple times but that's about it.

If you stay here maybe you can meet more? :) There are some nice people here, they are a tad bit easier to find than rare candies hehe. But glad to see you posting more. I thought you might have hated this new look and decided to go somewhere else. :(
