The Last of Us is awesome, I managed to beat Survivor Mode (sorry if it sounds like I'm gloating.)

I have no idea what to get my Fiance for her birthday that is coming up in two months. She got me some presents I liked because she knows the games I'm interested in but she doesn't really like games. I guess I could go make a dresser or bring out the sewing machine and make a dress or something. Also please don't laugh because I know how to use a sewing machine. My mom makes a living off of fabric and she wanted to pass on her gift to me, I actually went to a sewing class in 4th grade and I was the only guy there. <.< I can make a mean looking quilt too. With flowers and little dogs.

As for what to get, having no idea what she's into, I'd say a hand-made dress is excellent, though possibly overkill. How long would it take to make a dress anyway?

I've fully decided that after A-Fest I'm going to fully commit to building a entirely new PC. I already have the Case (It's this one btw), but I'm going to go shop for a Motherboard soon. I was thinking of something like this, but I don't know if it's something I should be going for. Considering I want to make this build somewhat "Next Gen" proof.

I'm planning on trying to make a new Rig that is pretty much "Next Gen" Proof as in I won't have to upgrade (much) for the next couple of years. I've had my build since about 2012. It's 2014 now and I don't know if I can run The Witcher 3 or Batman Arkham Knight at the Settings I want to run them in. Heck trying to run Tomb Raider (2013) at Ultimate Settings in 1080p gets me about an Average of 15 frames per second (sad I know). My normal Resolution is 1440x900 and that gets me about Average of 20 fps on Ultimate settings.

I want to try to bump it up to 60 in 1080 on pretty much all of my games.

With that I plan on spending at least maybe $120 per week? at least try to get something around there. Lets say $120 for about 7 weeks which gives me about $840. How does that sound? If need be we can add another week which will round out around $960. What would you give me around there?

Please consider the Case I already have.

Well, I just spent 1 hour writing a really intricate and thoughtful blog about sexualized character design, only for the whole thing to be deleted and sent to the vacuum of space due to my pinky hitting the wrong key.

when I start writing an Incredible Blog like that, I ALWAYS open Note Pad and Copy everything on to it and sometimes even finishing the Blog on Notepad before putting it on Tumblr or on my Profile page here.

That way website glitches won't kill my work.

Holy shit lol in the comparison that gamespot made between the 2 versions of TLOU the PS3 version looks better. Dat compression.

Kinda weird that the values in the PS3 version are actually better, that much I can see without having to up the resolution. It's like they had ambient occlusion and removed it. o.O

Herein Portugal you get to choose before 10th grade (1st year of highschool) what type of classes you want. So like I went in to visual arts so we got to choose 2 types from 3 classes: Art History, Geometry, Math. I left out math.

So apparently math is useless past highschool because I have never felt hindered by my lack of mathematical knowledge.

It captured Delsin's emotion really well.

I enjoyed playing as Delsin, & felt he was more engaging than Cole, but I would prefer a new cast of characters, & city.

Something like GTA5, where you get a cast of playable characters, & you can swap between them at all times. Would allow for more depth to the combat,gameplay mechanics, & for a more complex story with better choices.
