Woo Hoo, I finally beat Arkham Asylum (yes, I'm that far behind). I would like to take a moment to give a big "**** You" to GFWL.

Tip: There are more molotovs in the game than there are bloaters and while a molotov won't outright kill, it is guaranteed to remove all fungal armor, setting you up for a much easier fight.

Wouldn't we all? Wouldn't really mind a mobile version though if they don't botch it though. Solo Remix was supposedly pretty damned good.

I played through it last year and had to create an account just for it... and for some reason Steam achievements never activated. I mean, I've never really cared too much for Steam they're entirely non-intrusive enough that I can easily ignore them but it still struck me as odd.

Solo Remix is good. The combat system took some compromises, being alot less active and the mingle features were a little rough. But it's not like people that played TWEWY on DS used the mingle features anyway (Real JRPG gamers dont go outside or have friends lol). So I dont see what would be wrong with a mobile TWEWY 2.

I enjoyed it. The boss battles are a bit repetitive, but it's a fun game and I've always liked Batman

Well GFWL is gone now. But I had played like half way through the game, but when I upgraded my PC and did a clean install I only copied the save file. Well GFWL apparently requires you to back up your whole account in order to access the save file, so when i reinstalled the game it just told me my save was corrupt and I had to restart the whole game.

So I'm back behind the wheel on Thursday.

EA, on their On the House Deals has Wing Commander III up for free on Origin until September 2nd.

Trying to get the third monitor to work, seems I need displayport before it will. Though i don't know if the same issue is with them to. :P

those displayport adapters you bought, were they active, or passive? active ones will function like true displayport up to 1920x1080 iirc, allowing the third simultaneous monitor.

passive ones will only allow use of two monitors simultaneously.

I'm afraid they weren't displayport. I didn't do my research well enough. I thought I could use a dvi-d one, I was wrong. I didn't pay much at all for them, so no waste. And I still can put them to use.
I'm going to buy what is hopefully a active one on friday. If you can see this, will it work?

i can see that one, but i can't confirm if it will do the trick. i would assume that any displayport adapter failing to market itself as 'active' won't cut the mustard. this one should.

this is the exact one i have, and i can confirm triple screens works with both the 5770 & 7850. actually i think the max res might be 1900x1200.

I'll keep them, I can use them for other things.

Sadly we will run into a problem with the first link. My top card doesn't have a mini, my bottom has two though.

I may have to try the one you have. It will suck to wait again though, I hope its worth it.

@kitty: ok well it's great that one of the two adapters might do the trick. waiting is a bit of a pain in the bum, but, ya'know, should be worth it.

I'm hitting the go button today. just need to buy i5-4590, 80 gb ssd (for intel rst).
will move some parts around and end up with 8gb ram, 550w psu, barry-the-basic recycled case (that's just an aesthetic thing), genuine windows 7, 2tb boot drive, radeon 7850, no optical drive :D so i'll run with this until the next gpu's come up, then do the gpu, then she's done (hopefully for a good long while.)

@blue_hazy_basic do you wanna try and put a SW league together or do you wan me to? I'm thinking sometime sometime next week or the week after is when we should do it. I need to fix my fantasy football team itch I've been having the last week or so >.>

Rogue looks a lot better than Unity, Unity is the same shyt as AC 1, AC2, AC BH and AC Revelations but prettier (but we all know it's gonna get downgraded). While Rogue looks like AC Black Flag, which is a winner in my book, plus killing and hunting assassins? yes please.

Bought Dark Souls and Mario Kart 7. Also borrowed Batman Arkham Origins.

Also I got my 4th Zenith weapon, got it on my MRD last night. I might actually try and get my MRD Zodiac weapon.

that looks solid, I don't think you'll need anything other than a newer gpu. cpu is really good and everything looks solid. will you post pictures on the pc board when it is finished?

The process for upgrading beyond Zenith is crazy. I managed to get the Novus for my bard. Since then, I let my subscription run out as I'm completely burned out on the game. D:

Yea I post on the PC version forum, I tend to just read and not post unless it's like a poll thread like "what class do you play" ect ect.

I took a break awhile back from Feb-July, and I've been catching up on a lot of stuff.

seems like a great active displayport adapter to me, i'll keep my fingers crossed it does the trick for ya.

thanks man. yeah the gpu i have, it's doing just fine for now, i can probably hold out until the next gpu's come along. although for the right price i'd go for a gtx770 or r9 290 (triple fan in either case, roughly double and slightly over double fps boost respectively).

and yeah double thanks, i like to buy at a good price/performance compromise.

after this upgrade my fiance's getting my old cpu. i5-3470. she's currently on an i3-3220. h77 motherboard.

On a similar note, I wish it just granted invulnerability during jump, that's all I want. But SE says it will will be too OP... Smh

There are benchmarks if you're curious but the differences will vary from game to game. AMD cards are generally considered best bang for your buck for mid-range builds while most high end users will rely on Nvidia. I've been running with the HD 7970 since it first came out. It runs every game I throw at it just fine but it's a bit on the louder side.

can I get a link to those Benchmarks? I've been thinking of going Nvidia lately.
