Anyone here familiar with Aphex Twin? I just came across his ambient music from the 80s and 90s, what a pleasant surprise. Such a varied artist, goes from super chilly ambient to violent drill and bass.

Today I start working on some background art for a cool short animated film project some guys have going on in the UK, seems promising and they will be showing it off at several film festivals.

Yep. I cam across the steam thread myself when looking at the greenlight page. Here's a screenshot I found:

Why would she need to switch Steam accounts? Read the first line again and tell me if it doesn't come across as self-aware. Then read the second and tell me she's just not trying to funnel 8chan et. al. into one thread with a clear call-out.

Just finished Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary from the Master Chief Collection on the XB1.

Wow has that campaign not aged gracefully. First few levels are fine, a majority from Assault on the Control Room onward is just so... areas reused over and over. The game really loses its luster at that point. Still had a blast, and coop is as fun as it has ever been in the campaign.

Now onto Halo 2 Anniversary. Wow those cutscenes! And I like the intro with Locke and the Arbiter. I saw him and I was just like, "Hey! He's back!" Instant wave of nostalgia. ^_^

Oh, I also should say that The Master Chief Collection created an even greater sin than messing up the online multiplayer. They don't have the ending credits attached to the games! So I finish Halo: CE Anniversary and then it just goes right back to the menu. If I want to see the credits I can click on it a submenu which will then open up Internet Explorer on my XB1 and I can look at simple web page of the credits. No scrolling text. No music.

Seriously, what a way to kill the satisfaction of completing a game.

Finished Dying Light. Fantastic game aside from the shit ending. Also finished Persona 4 and gonna start NG+.

So, I'll be gone for a while for some weeks; maybe months. I realized that a lot of things gets on my nerves so I should better clear my mind by leaving this place indefinately.

@Slashkice: I just beat it on Normal and also found Nelo Angelo 3 and Griffin 3 to be quite difficult at first.

Definitely! Well... it's less that I watch them and more that I use that time to reflect on the game as a whole. I sit there and think back on the journey, sort of paying respect to the developers. It sucks with games like Assassin's Creed when the credits are super long but I generally enjoy that time.

My original post was exaggerated. :P I wasn't that upset, but it did catch me off guard and left me slightly disappointed.

Part 2 has Random Twitter Person asking why this image was created on October 8, 2014, before a Huffington Post article about Wu fleeing her home on Oct. 10 was posted.

The problem here is assuming the image in question was -the- death threat that caused her to flee her home. The HuffPo article features a different image entirely, featuring Tweets made by another Twitter user -- Tweets that included Wu's personal information.

Part 3 is essentially a repeat of Part 2. Also is in need of some date-checking.
Part 4 is Another Twitter Person's Twitter feed. Not Wu's. Not showing her deleting a Tweet she made. Not establishing the timeframe to show there's a missing Tweet.

Logic goes out the fucking window with some of these gamergate examples of "proof". My personal favorite is that they think that Patrick Klepek was fired from Giantbomb for gamergate related reasons. That he went out all cordial, finished game of the year stuff, finished doing video work and work on that site, before they let him go. Like how fucking ignorant of the world do you have to be to believe that shit?

I miss the days when it was about ethics in games journalism. :( However misinformed and unfounded it was - as it turns out, the writer of all those articles didn't sleep with anyone -, it at least stood for something decent then. Now? *Sigh* I don't know what is, but everything they make it out to be has even worse goals, worse foundations, and its biggest proponents have less charm than a sack of crap.
