System Wars Lounge v54: The So Many Games Edition

It's OC'able right out of the box. The price dropped since I bought it to. If you are interested and do buy, you have to set a custom res in the Nvidia control panel and change the hz.
I've already tested it to see if it can stay steady and it does.

It's $289 atm. I paid $339 for it about a month or so ago.

Purolator package tracking sucks balls. My 970 left LAX at 7PM on the 23rd, and supposedly never landed. That poor plane has been flying in circles for days.

Get on it man! You can grab I-X all on the Vita if you want though I'm playing some of them through an Android emulator to speed up the ones I've already played.

Never played any of the Souls games, so it's not an attraction for me to get a PS4

Gotta admit I like BB quite a bit more than DS so far. I've always felt DS was just too cumbersome for my liking which lead to me not really liking the series all that much compared to some forum peeps. This game fits my aggressive tendencies so its smoother sailing and I acclimated pretty quick.

Right now on boss four and got it down to like a sliver of health first time... really hate when you get anxious when its down to the wire and you die because of it. Happened once on the last boss too.

Haven't started it yet, I've been on Diablo 3 most nights since my spring break started Friday.

Spends an hour beating @PhazonBlazer's score in OlliOlli2, weeps openly because i'm not worthy of touching @TheEroica's score.

@darkspineslayer: all I'm going to say is I was in the middle of my millionth run and it all clicked.... Like I figured out what the game was asking me to really do and poof... My score jumped by a million points with each new run. I haven't even begun to hit the next levels after my epiphany.... But oh I will....

Save yourself the trouble. It's one of the worst FF games I've ever played. I found XIII more enjoyable than that ugly chore of a game. Even Mystic Quest is better.

Playing FFX HD nowadays, I still don't get why some of post-FF6 games are considered "masterpieces"

@kitty: This guy. I needed something a little smaller and quieter for my mATX build. My comp only has 2 system fans plus the CPU fan, so I didn't want something too noisy. I'm gonna have to test it to see what system temps I get.

Looks nice. That should be okay temp wise. You'll probably be surprised by the temps you get from it.

I hope so. I'm also hoping I get similar performance to reference cards. Supposedly it does, but it's hard to find full-on reviews. Regardless, this is mostly a HTPC build, with some decent gaming in mind.

you'll need to invest in something good so it can last instead of buying something cheap that breaks quickly ( i learned my lesson bought a $40 wired headset few years back and it stopped working after 4 months from usage, after buying the elite headset for $70 in black friday i been using it for over a year now )

If you can find the HyperX cloud headset on sale, they're supposed to be pretty good. It's wired though

Yeah, and I couldn't stand XIII either. Maybe you'll get into Type-0 more than I did. The combat can be pretty good, but it's much like XIII in terms of it's God awful story telling.

@lostrib: Being wired doesn't really bother since you can just plug it to the controller. It really just needs to be serviceable, is all :P
