@davillain-: I've been meaning to watch the first episode... Did it premiere yet? I know they streamed the first episode a few weeks early.

I assume you're talking about Star Wars episode 7 right? LA was doing a world premier first but the rest is actually December 18 worldwide release.
@lundy86_4: Amazon only show one episode of Expanse like last week when I watch it. It was pretty interesting but it feels like way too little to judge the show on.
Great effects and a more realistic approach to space travel than most shows. There is a scene where a starship basically has no gravity until it starts moving and then another scene where everyone has to strap in and even get pumped full of some kind of tonic because the ship has to turn around and the G-forces are extreme. Seems like an interesting plot overall. Basically Earth and Mars are in a cold war. The Earth has a ton of people but Mars appears to have more advanced technology and has a mysterious vibe to it. The actual series start tonight on sy-fy.
@Slashkice: I'd also recommend Fable II (I like it, just don't go in expecting, like, Zelda from it). Infinite Undiscovery was another one, it's not the best game in the world, but it probably wouldn't hurt to at least give it a try.
Ninja Gaiden 2?
Yeah, skipping it does sound like a good idea.
There is Tales of Vesperia.
As well as Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon.
But then again, paying $60 for the system to play Vesperia and give LO a try doesn't sound that bad. I'm just wondering if there are other, more overlooked titles that could push me firmly into buy territory.
Well I'll gladly list my Xbox 360 exclusive games that I play my life time with 360 and there not military shooters ether.
That's pretty much it but the rest are Halo and Gears that over flooded Xbox 360.

Of those, Alan Wake and Fable remaster are on PC, and Slash already said if something was available anywhere else and he wanted to play it, he had played it on the other platform.
Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon I had already listed. I did forget about Crackdown, though.
@Slashkice: I'm not gonna pretend it was a good game lol. it just wasn't an offensive one, and I got some reasonable mileage from it. This was like 8 years back though, so who knows how it has held up. I'd still recommend Fable II (don't get III, III is trash), and yeah, Crackdown is another one you could maybe look into.
@Slashkice
I'll +1 the Dead Rising recommendations (It's never been ported? Huh, thought otherwise for some reason) and throw in Rockstar's second-best game ever: Table Tennis. :|
Dead Rising
Ninja Gaiden 2
Viva Pinata 1 and 2
Banjo Nuts and Bolts
Ace Combat 6
Geometry Wars 2
Filler:
Crackdown
Dead or Alive 4 (not because it wasn't good, but because sequel)
Prey
Is Geo Wars 2 still worth buying if I already have 3?
I don't know I didn't play 3, I ran with the narrative that **** Geo Wars 3, because Geo Wars 2 is the shit. #MaximumIntegrity
@Slashkice: One thing I need to mention about Ninja Gaiden 2 vs Sigma 2 on PS3. Xbox 360 version feature just dismembering red blood which was consider the uncensored version, while Sigma 2 took the blood out and replace it with purple mist.
@charizard1605 One more thing I forgot to mention, ever play Ninja Blade? It's a Xbox 360 exclusive, similar to Ninja Gaiden in a kind of way but that game is underrated gem of a game but I had fun though.
If I were to buy a 360 in this, the year of our Lord 2015, what's still worth playing? Keeping in mind that if it exists on another platform, I probably already have it.
The GS deal this week is tempting me. :>
Honestly, not much :P
I see hat you're probably not too enthusiastic about buying Gears and Halo. I can't make a case for Gears, but one Halo game I'd still recommend you to play is Halo: Reach. It has an excellent campaign, probably one of the best I've seen in a first person shooter. It turned me into a Halo believer (Halo 4 promptly turned me into a cynic again though).
I'd say Fable 2 and 3. 3 is a bit iffy since a lot of people say plenty of bad stuff about the game, and though I personally enjoyed it, I can see where they're coming from- they're all valid criticisms. But Fable II is a game 360 owners should definitely play. Absolutely lovely game, one I enjoyed every minute of.
But yeah, I guess those are the only ones I can think of. Maybe you should skip the 360 :P
@Slashkice: Oh yes, Lost Odyssey, Dead Rising and Ninja Gaiden II as well. Forgot all about those. Haven't played Tales of Vesperia, but I've heard good things about it.
Add Fable II to that list if you DO end up buying the 360, you won't regret it :D
Alright, right now my list is looking like:
+ the Rare stuff as maybes. I think that's good enough for me, but more recommendations are always welcome.

Nah, Ninja Blade is on PC too. I remember playing that shit through my OnLive trial. Good times, good times.
I'll say this man, as someone in your position earlier this year. If it's under $100, and you consider yourself a fan of video games, just do it, even if you're not going to play the system much. The sheer ability to pull it out at any time to play it whenever a games deal comes along, along with whatever small amount of exclusives you'll play on it that you wouldn't otherwise is worth it.
I myself ended up picking up a One instead of a 360 for the third time, but BC helped.
There's some good SHMUPS in the XBLA store like Radiant Silvergun, Bangai-O, Espgaluda, Mushihimesama Futari or Deathsmiles if you're into those.
I'm sure there are other good stuff on the XBLA store that im forgetting. But the store was the big reason why I got the console.
Just finished Fate Stay Night Unlimited blade Works
10/10 anime great story, amazing soundtrack, great characters, breathtaking animation and oh did i mention the epic story
dat opening tho!
@illmatic87: saw the issue on Telltale's site. They needed you to go into windowed mode first.
Nice
Enjoy the best Borderlands game, the best Tales game and the best Telltale game since Sam & Max Season 3. >:[
Ok so since I just beat FO4, and I beat TW3 a while back, I can now determine which one is better: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. goty, no question. Better story, better characters, better open world. Fallout 4 probably has more content and a better combat system, but the story is just balls.
Okay, 16 hours into Final Fantasy X. Just did the Wendigo boss fight after the Macalania Temple.
Solid 8.5/10 so far.

That's too high..........
I think it's a little more in the 8.4 range tbh
Wow, that salt_the_fries thread lol.

First he creates a misinformation (of course it was an honest mistake, because nobody back then had known) and doesn't bother to correct it on time, regarding Kojima and Sony, because at the time I made my own thread he was still suggesting Kojima wouldn't team up with Sony after all.
In order to avoid confusion and make a nice, fresh, clean conversation about it anew, I created a new topic with the new, official statement, that Kojima officially started a partnership with Sony.
But somehow, I am the one who's at fault here.
This is not a first time Char has made a questionable lock.
Before that, I have created a thread about the fact PS4 has become jailbroken. And the last time I checked ToS, you weren't supposed to put any links or endorse it, but mentioning a mere fact that something was jailbroken shouldn't be prohibited, especially that the topic was about how it could influence its sales. Just like
And please don't tell me I should've created this thread in an appropriate support/suggestion section.
You might as well perma-ban me if you do feel offended. I don't care. It's not anything personal either. I just think it was unfair of you two times in a very short succession. Hence the thread."
I mean dude, it was an obvious dupe. A few of us told him. And he even knew it. The discussion was alive and well in the other topic, despite the title.
I just never expected that response from Salt lol. When I first saw the thread, I figured surely it must be a joke alt.

Yeah, I don't know what's gotten into Salt lately. He used to be a good poster, but lately the quality of his posts has plummeted. His threads in general are either trollbait trash (which unfortunately can't technically be modded) or clear violations of the ToU (which can be and are).
I suppose this place just got to him.
