Yeah, just the opening credits. The very first shot is a dude with his mouth wide open, I modeled, sculpted and textured that head lol. I think it was later used in the chase scene as well. Not a big part by any means, it was just something I got called up to do at the last second. I just thought it was cool that it was the very first thing you see.

We need something exciting to happen. I think since April will be a pretty big month game wise I think it may bring some excitement back to SW especially for certain factions.

What did you expect? Cows took over SW, the numbers are so damn high, it's futile to just go into a war with a Cow is just asking to get beat down. Sheeps are playing there Wii U games but once NX get's announcements, Sheeps will return. I'm sorry but SW isn't even trying anymore, and I'm not interested doing console vs console threads, just games basically.

Pretty much. SW thrives on competition. The more competition there is, the more SW thrives. But when there's little competition, SW declines. When the NX releases, SW should start picking up again.

The Store is always spotty, but this update never flat out prevented you from accessing it. The battery life issues I haven't seen on my Vita but I haven't left it on standby without charging recently either.

Mine connects to PSN without issues at this point. Probably just your connections.

I downloaded soul sacrifice delta with no issues whatsoever. Although maybe I'm just imagining it but the battery life did go out faster than before? Hmm maybe because it was downloading.

Anyway haven't had the chance to even play Splatoon or even play all the PSN games I got due to this semester taking even more of my time and I have to work harder. I'll probably finish less games this year than last. I hope I get to finish MGSV and hope the last Guardian and FFXV actually finally release this year. It's been a while man.

One thing i never understand why people donot respect each other opinions? i may criticize games but not the gamers who play it. for example I hate MGS5 but i will always respect a person who love it.

Anyways, after a "discussion" with Azitis(sp) I've decided that I will never try explaining the difference between facts and opinions again, unless I have children.

Opinions are like *** holes, everyone has one, it doesn't mean people want to see your *** hole aka opinion all the time.

It's simplistic, faithful to the license and quite varied with different scenarios that the game presents to you. The way the game and events are framed to you provides this strong sense of adventure as the game is divided into separate days. The last day feels quite abrupt compared to the others, but it's still quite satisfying when you reach its conclusion. I think the biggest complaint you can leverage to the game is that it prefers to lean too much on the jokes made within the TV show, as opposed to deliver and execute on new ones.

Just pick the Jew class for the hilarity of it, I think it may be the strongest one. For the most part, your party member that you choose to bring along to fight with you makes the most difference, as some are stronger than others.

I'd ignore azatis. He just keeps pulling the people he argue with into an endless debate. Important note lol: if you are a cow he won't have any issues with you. He just assumes that everyone is a lemming and calls out people who he doesn't agree with randomly in any thread lol.

But yeah, I might be going to see it again tonight. One of my 3d bros is moving for a new job, I told him I'd go see it with him. I'll definitely be on the lookout during the chase.

Yeah, lol. It seems to be the case with all media, especially in the US- movies, TV shows, games, yeesh. It's getting harder and harder to even break even on the investment at this point. I almost empathize with the production houses soullessly and cynically trying to suck all the life out of our wallets. Almost.

We had done 3 digital doubles for a shot in the show Sleepy Hollow... Sleepy fucking Hollow man, not even a big time show. Our models were only on screen for 3 frames. 1/8 of a second bro. What did we charge for creating those assets? Almost 20 thousand. Then when you have to factor in the guys in costume getting paid to come do scans and photography, the logistics behind it, the VFX work that went into comping those models into the shot, etc..

You're easily looking at somewhere in the ballpark of 30k - 40k for 1/8th of a second lol.

It's ridiculous.

And I guess it makes some degree of sense. The cost of building out physical models of that stuff would be even crazier I'm sure. Plus you don't have the room for experimentation and flexibility that you get with a digital model. You destroy that physical model once, and the shot is wrong, you have to rebuild again.

Still, it's just tough for me to digest those numbers at times.

Yeah- like $20,000 is basically a year of college at a good state university. That's how much Sleepy Hollow paid for an eighth of a second.

It's just- yikes. I mean, I know it totally makes sense (plus I think assets like these can generally be reused later, right? They're not one time only?), but it is weird when you try to look at it with some sort of perspective haha.

Oh yeah, they're just a collection of files at that point. They can be resurrected for new shots if needed, used for adverts, reworked as 3d printable figures, even optimized down to be used as video game models if needed.

Like you said though, perspective lol. Now matter how you rationalize it, it's just too god damn much.
