@last_lap: hey, did you see your buddy Shill Up absolutely eviscerated Phil this week on his show. I think even you would've enjoyed it.
It seems the Bond games peaked about the early 2000's and it's just been shit since then.
I'm looking forward to it, picked a perfect dev.
Goldeneye N64 is still the goat. After that, most 007 games were just meh at best. I still like Tomorrow Never Dies PS1 game.

Amazon original content has been pretty bad.
James Bond's long-serving producers give control to Amazon
The James Bond film franchise will no longer be controlled by the Broccoli dynasty, after long-serving masterminds Barbara Broccoli and Michael G Wilson announced they are stepping down.

Came here to post that.
This doesn't seem like a good turn of events 😂

Not defending Amazon MGM as we all know they come as a hit or miss. I like to give them the benefit of a doubt they won't run 007 brand to the ground. I'm just curious how they perceive Bond as a franchise moving forward.
If anything, can I please get a 007/The Kingsman crossover please.
@davillain: Golden Eye maybe a Goat but it certainly isn't the GOAT.
Best Bond game is Quantum of Solace.
Woah, there was a game for Quantum of Solace? I didn't know that.
its casino royale/qauntum of solace game but it was actually call of duty game disguise as 007. same engine same developer same gunplay but with third person wall cover.
Canada just beat USA in the finals of the 4 Nations Face Off hockey championship. Hell yeah! Great game. 🇨🇦
Is fighting common in hockey? I saw a clip of them beating the shit out of each other and the refs just stood around watched.
Canada fucking hates America atm. Seems UK jumped aboard that train as well.

I wouldn't really say that it's common necessarily. Might get a few fights in an 82 game season. Was more common 20+ years ago before. The previous game between Canada and USA there were three fights in the first 9 seconds of the game. That is definitely not common. 😂
This last game there were no fights. Too important so no one wanted to put their team at a 5 minute disadvantage.

Praise McJesus!
Indeed.

Never been to Hooters. Always heard the Food is garbage so I can see why they're not even trying anymore.
Major outbreak in my hospital where I work. Everyone been told to mask up and gloves on at all times until March 2nd. No one knows what the outbreak is 🤷
They won't tell us
@davillain: I dunno that's why I asked. If you're a fan of Bond I'm not sure how you missed it back in the 360 days.
The SP was entertaining for what it was, but the MP rocked hard man. It had a Bond mode where there was a 7 man lobby and one would be picked at random to be Bond and had to get the the exit on the other side of the map with the other 6 people chasing you down.
Then there was golden gun mode where a pair of overpowered golden guns were hidden on the map and the person who held onto them the longest would win the match.
Had some great mp fun on that game, way more fun then Goldeneye.
Hope the guys making this thing are recording a bunch of increasingly ominous audio logs about the process onto individual USB sticks and scattering them around the facility https://t.co/VM3uSr0JRU

@last_lap: its Covid. Apparently we've had a major outbreak. I'm triple vaccinated, so I'm good but I worry about some of our older patients.

That's not good, maybe they need to pull out the bleach, i'm only kidding.
I have never had covid (well not that I know of) and I had 2 shots, but the second one made me sick for 24hrs so I decided that I wouldn't be getting any more.

I think the problem with Craig era in general (barring Skyfall), it really lacks the fantastical elements or tone to lend itself to a game without ending up boring.
Look at something like the Pierce Brosnan era, fit perfectly into the medium.
Started playing Actraiser last night and woke up this morning to finish it. I got to the final boss, which is fighting allllll the bosses before the final boss with two forms. Died a few times and abandoned it to go to the gym. When I return I shall be victorious!!
Still one of the few games I can pick up and play and marval at just how damn spectacular it is. The music, graphics, writing and gameplay come together in perfect harmony. Still so fresh. Did anyone play Actraiser Renaissance?
@TheEroica: Played Actraiser back on the SNES and really enjoyed it. Still need to pick up Renaissance though.

I thought you'd be happy to see you to have more in common than your Aussie bloodlines.... Plus, I mean how can you blame anyone for being team PC? It's got tremendous value. Especially when compared with the console clown car.
@Chutebox: By news, I mean Trump, Russia, China, Europe.
I don't watch news channels, follow events on feeds.

That would be like me saying see that American over there, well he wears clothes as well, so you two have more in common than your bloodlines.
His reviews are total BS, he will criticise a game for one thing and completely omit the same criticism in another game because he likes it. He's a PC fanboy, so the worst of the worst.
Can you explain how PC has "tremendous" value when compared to consoles, this should be a good for a laugh.
@last_lap: there are no service fees and your library is always at the ready.... Compare that to console service fees and being gouged multiple times to buy the same games. I mean?
What service fee are you talking about, online? if so, well i'd rather pay a service fee to know that i'm mostly playing against others who aren't cheating, compared to PC where its an open platform that is rife with cheating. So for about $7 a month I know that there are by FAR less cheaters compared to PC is a bargain in my eyes, on a side note I have access to about 30 games a year for that price to download also, which comes out as a bargain.
So you have an issue getting up and putting in different consoles to play certain games, well shit mate how do you even get of the couch and go to work lol.
What do you mean by gouged multiple times to buy the same games?
Damn, had to pull the back off of my sons Series X because it was sounding like a jet engine, and it stopped working with an error message stating it was overheating.
The amount of dust the thing collects is astonishing, but after taking the back off and vacuuming it out it works fine again and is back to being quiet again.
Which made me look at mine and my Series X has Spider webs inside it lol.
@TheEroica: Played Actraiser back on the SNES and really enjoyed it. Still need to pick up Renaissance though.
Its definitely one of my all time favorites. Renaissance is very well done! I enjoyed it greatly on switch. I'd say the one caveat being they included some tower defense gameplay that wasn't in the original... It's well done so nothing really to gripe about but if you're a purist you might get a little irked.
@Stevo_the_gamer: Double Agent was great too, Conviction is where it started to go south, but I still enjoyed the game for what it is, it's just that it's not really Splinter Cell as we knew it.
Hopefully come E3 season we get an update on the remake, I'm still hopeful, and if I were to but it then it would be my first ever purchase of a remake as I'm not really a fan of that kinda stuff.
As long as they leave the core gameplay intact and just spruce up the graphics, lighting etc then surely they can't go wrong, right?
I actually don't remember either Conviction or Double Agent... besides making fun of the Wii version on SW. I have Double Agent and I think Conviction on Xbox though. They didn't really have the lasting nostalgic effect that the OG Splinter Cell, Pandora Tomorrow or Chaos Theory did. Or maybe I'm just feeling old right now that I literally can't remember anything about those games.
@Stevo_the_gamer: DA was great and still holds true to the OG games, while mot as great as a single player game, it's mode (which the name escapes me) where you and 2 other friends tackle levels (made up for that mode) to try and get a 3 star ranking were great, they were really hard, and most satisfying when you get those 3 stars.
I clean my gaming PC every 6 Months as I build it to attract less dust but it should be common sense to also clean and dust out consoles as well. Remember, electricity attracts dust like magnets on the wall and can build up inches of dust in no time. PC, Switch, and PS5 all get cleaned out every 6 months.

Splinter cell after Chaos theory died. Chaos theory was masterpiece and one of the best game ever made. OG splinter cell games were soo good.
Double agent I only played PC/360 version and heard Xbox original version was closer to chaos theory. next gen version was bad. too mcuh filler JBA HQ, daylight missions, Emile dufrainse was bad villain.
conviction and blacklist were terrible action games.
I missed early splinter cell. have no faith in modern ubisoft to pull splinter cell remake.
