took me a while to think of my 3,thought back to my favorite games and this is how i decided these 3 were my favorites 

ps2,1st dvd player,ffx,smackdown here comes the pain,drakengard,dark cloud,star wars battlefront 2 and god of war 

ps1,smackdown 2,ff7,legend of dragoon,syphon filter,chrono cross,driver

ps3,uncharted,killzone 2,infamous,mag,fear 2,resistance fall of man,dragon age origins 

if i could choose pc or the windows platform that would be #1

Backwards compatible with the PS1, tons of games from almost every genre there is, tons of hidden gems, tons of exclusives. The greatest console known to man. God Himself gave Man the inspiration to build this wonder of the world. 

2. SEGA Genesis

The definite heaven for 2D action-platformers and shoot 'em ups. If you wanna feel 2D, you go with it.

3. SEGA Saturn

The only 5th generation console worth owning because of the huge number of exclusives never released anywere els, and unique games poignant with solid design that have not aged one second. If you feel burned out on gaming and need something completely unique that has never ben replicated before, you go with the Saturn.

The Sega Megadrive ( Sega Genesis ).
