Obviously the 360 people that voted Reach have all played TF2. There's stuff in TF2 you can't do in Reach. And TF2 also has a competitive scene.

I dunno I think Halo's community is way bigger than TF2. Certainly TF2, as a hardcore PC shooter community is unusually massive, but it's unfair on itself to compare it to something as mainstream as Halo.

Not to say the breadth of Halo's popularity and dedication makes it any better. But really, come back to me when you can play TF2 with Linkin Park.:lol:

Alternately, people are actually voting on the games based on their personal enjoyment of them, or their own informed opinions on which game is better.

Besides, if anything, Halo should have a huge advantage in this poll - isn't it vastly more popular than TF2?

I was just pointing out how TF2 is still a serious competitor even though it came out in 2007 (thanks to tons of free content packs), while Halo players have been migrating across three Halo games (3, ODST and now Reach).

I prefer Halo. By a good bit. And yes I played and own the PC version of TF2. I just like gameplay/universe of Halo much much more.

Reviving the thread! After some playtime with Black Ops and BC2 I've returned to TF2 and man, this game pwns those two, let alone Reach, in fun, gameplay and challenge.

as someone who plays both. reach by far. TF2 is just silly fun, not really anything to take seriously.

TF2 is more hardcore and takes way more skill. I like Reach more personally, but TF2 is the better game (pc version).

Since this thread was made, Reach has gotten 3 new maps, which cost money.

Meanwhile, TF2 has gotten 3 new maps and 104 new items for free.
