Just anecdotal evidence from working at blockbuster.just saying, almost all videos made by Wipeout and Elpreasador tend to be untrue, if your looking for accurate facts that do support the PS3 I recommend you just stick with Blackbustercritic, hes the only PS3 fan Ive found on youtube that doesnt spurt out blatant lies.

Which is why I cant wait for GT5 to come out. 1080p and running 60fps! I just hope the physics engine is well updated. This generation of consoles is not about 1080p, 720 maybe. If playing pacman in 1080p is your thing then yes you got a point.

[QUOTE="oblivionboar"][QUOTE="Panosola"]Only the 360 can produce true 1080p.All the games on the 360 can play on 1080p but on the PS3 only 720p(like Fallout 3,Oblivion,Resident Evil 5 and more).Only some games on the PS3 with no good graphics can play on 1080p but again it is not real 1080p.The 360 have more power than PS3 and that is why all games play on 1080p. 99% everything on PS3 play in 720p but 99% everything on 360 play in 1080p.Panosolaif thats true wheres ur link The 360 have better better graphics card...... XBOX 360: 512MB of GDDR3 RAM clocked at 700MHz * Maximum pixel fillrate: 4 gigapixel per second (8 ROPs x 500 MHz) * Maximum Z sample rate: 8 gigasamples per second (2 Z samples x 8 ROPs x 500 MHz), 32 gigasamples per second using 4X anti aliasing (2 Z samples x 8 ROPs x 4X AA x 500 MHz) * Maximum anti-aliasing sample rate: 16 gigasamples per second (4 AA samples x 8 ROPs x 500 MHz) PS3 only: 256 MB GDDR3 RAM at 700 MHz * Peak pixel fillrate (theoretical): 4.4 Gigapixel per second * Maximum Z sample rate: 8.8 GigaSamples per second (2 Z-samples * 8 ROPs * 550 MHz) That is why all the multyplatform games on the 360 look better.Like the AC2 ,the difference between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions is literally night and day. The Xbox 360 version have high-dynamic range lighting. The PS3 version also suffers from a lower texture resolution and problematic framerate. The 360 can push out those same kind of graphics and better than U2.(Alan Wake,Metro 2033,Crysis 2). Forza3 it looks on pair if not better and proving that xbox 360 is a graphic beast and it can can produce true 1080p.
Not true. Hardware comparisons simply isn't a case of 360 having better GPU. While it is true, the architecture of the cell and the processes it overcomes usually compliment the PS3's slightly weaker GPU. It's just a case of understanding this technology and working it to its advantages. Proof, UC2, KZ2 even MGS4 (which is now old) push out brilliant visual and consistent framerates. For 360, all i can think of is Forza, perhaps Halo and Gears, but they're not quite on par with UC2/MGS4/KZ2 imo. I would like to see Alan Wake cos i imagine that game will be pushed in every department, but from what i've seen so far, better GPU does not mean better graphics this gen.
Edit: oh, is it true F3 runs tru 1080p, i thought it was 1080i which is something totally different.
the 360 cant produce long game length games with great graphics you guys produce short game length games with great graphics and our exclusives own all your games beacause multiplat form games are made on the 360 beacause its easier to do then ported on the ps3 so the multiplats r a little better but our exclusives own 360 multiplats and ur exclusives oblivionboarI would keep in mind here that the PS3's top graphical games are all fairly short games as well, so perhaps the adage about people who live in glass houses could apply.
The claim from MS is that the 360 can output a native 1080p image.I've argued this over two years. The 360 is capable of showing an image on the 1080p signal is different than producing a 1080p image and signal. Its called upscaling.

Wow, it's like night and day between the PS3 and 360. It's a shame his friend was such a lemming that he wouldn't let him continue his testing to gather more empirical data.
"PS3 is designed from the ground up to produce a 1080p image and 360 isn't"
Honestly who believes this nonsense? PS3 is using a custom 7800GTX with half the bus, simply the G70 design that PC was running years ago. There is nothing about PS3 that is "designed from the ground up" to produce 1080p.
Shhh, they want us to stop using facts now! They don't understand that silly 7800GTX, G70 stuff from 4 years ago! They only know the unlimited power of teh Cell!Yeah, owning both, the PS3 is like some massive super computer while the 360 sometimes looks like an Atari 2600. Amazing differences...Or, you know, sometimes that tree half a mile off in the distance is slightly better looking on one platform or the other. Simply astonishing differences.Wow, it's like night and day between the PS3 and 360. It's a shame his friend was such a lemming that he wouldn't let him continue his testing to gather more empirical data.

I was merely trying to apply other people's points to games.
[QUOTE="tirralirra"][QUOTE="SpruceCaboose"] UC2 is a short game. Clearly, everyone misses out on the exploration aspect of that game. demons souls makes u own ur self Pfft, blits that game. I don't understand where all the 'this game is too hard' came from. I meam, yeah, its long and hard...(LOL) but only for this gen, and only for consoles.

I'm not likeing those sources. I can't find my source (surprise surprise!) but im pretty sure 360 cannot produce true 1080p. Furthermore, the PS3 can, but it hasn't be tried during gameplay yet. When will we get 1080p? we already have it on PC, in fact, PC gamers will often boast that they can play games in a far higher resolution than 1080p ie 1920x1200 hahaha! it looks awesome!
will we ever get true 1080p on consoles? probably next gen.

Very few are rendered in full 1080p. Though the 360 has a chip that can *upscale* games to 1080p.
However, they're not truely rendered at 1080p.
i cant see the 360 having true 1080p it should be a last gen console disc tray no wireless adapter rrod problems power brick batteries for controllers no motion sense

There are some true 1080p games for both systems. Though they are the very very small minority.
You mean arcade games...pfft!
Don't say that, otherwise everyone will start going on about their systems having games (full length ones) with full 1080p

"Let's deal with the basic rendering spec. Similar to the first Assassin's Creed, ACII runs at native 720p resolution, with 2x multi-sampling anti-aliasing on Xbox 360 and quincunx edge-smoothing on PS3. The net result is that the PS3 has fewer "jaggies" at the expense of every texture in the game getting an unwelcome blur."
