With the only decent game announced being a Gamecube Zelda with Wii controls, its hard to really understand what Nintendo is doing behind closed doors.

On top of the crap first party Nintendo is bringing to the table, the tech inside the Wii is already dated. Most games look like a glorified PS2 game. I'm not asking for 1080P and 60 FPS, i just think their really hurting themselves and us as gamers by not incorporating decent hardware into their systems considering this thing will be on the market going against the likes of teh cell.

I dont see much good coming from the Wii besides the fact that it has teh waggle.

I remember there was somebody like you who said that when the PSP was coming out and a few months later numbers came out and they were proved wrong. Also the line-up of games for the 3DS looks great. I guess you just haven't looked any up. Yea its going to get Zelda, but its also getting KH, MGS3, Resident Evil. Also somthing that Nintendo has proven, and has proven for some.....I lost count on how many years now. You don't need superior hardware to make superior numbers. Your just some sony fanboy who thinks its all about power and not about fun, when that is what its all about and that is what sells. The ngp looks nice but I am still getting the 3DS.

And you think the NGP won't be getting ports? Espcially since the only thing people have been talking about is how powerful the NGP is going to be. Better believe its going to get just as many ports. Sony's going to do it because it WORKS AND SELLS FOR NINTENDO so they would be dumb not to do the samething.

In addition to Ocarina of Time 3-D: Mario Kart 3DS, Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright, Professor Layton and the Mask of Miracle, Paper Mario, new Dragon Quest, new Mario and Zelda (Nintendo confirmed that these will be announced and released after E3), new Shin Megami Tensei Persona and all other SMTs, Resident Evil Revelations, REsident Evil Mercenaries, Metal Gear Solid 3-D, Mega Man Legends 3, Blaz Blue: Continuum Shift 2, Super Street Fighter 4 3-D Edition, and the inevitable new Pokemon (and Black/White from the DS to hold off until then).

Anyone who knows anything about gaming this gen knows that's a much better lineup than the atrocious lineup the DS initially had. Obviously that lineup grew a ton and became the most successful system of the gen. If this is the lineup we are getting to start, I can't wait to see what comes after all this and I'll be getting a 3DS day one.

I think the saying "haters gonna hate" needs to be revised to "fanboys gonna hate," quite a perfect example in this thread.

The tech is very impressive, and no, none of the 3DS games are dated except when compared to say a PS3 game. It's a handheld, expect that. Secondly, there are a SIGNIFICANT amount of great games coming out.

The graphics are impressive, by no means dated (and even heralded by third party developers), there are a ton of games, innovative features including the 3d camera that allows for games to use augmented reality. There will be an online store.

So do more research. You're lacking on information.

I think that's exactly what he meant.
