Seriously hope it comes out and can prove that it belongs in the same league as Forza2 or the fur ( or cow hide )is gonna fly man - just be prepared if you're going to hype the game through the roof.

easy...sony/pd always release beautiful pics pre-launch to generate hype, yet the final product NEVER lives up to the hype...

they did the same thing with GT4..

pre-launch had jaggie free pics with beautiful reflections...

the actual GT4 had TONS of jaggies and poor reflective mapping...

dishonest? yes, but hey, it sells more that way than being truthful...:)

I do seriously hope GT5 does turn out great as I want some very good reasons to buy the PS3 and a great GT would be a good one.

Those are probably the best graphics I've ever seen. I mean I know it's a car game, but damn...

Awesome graphics, but I'm predicting Forza2 to have better gameplay.

Different playing games, I agree. Both games look pretty similar in terms of graphics. PGR4 looks incredible. The real difference is PGR4 is coming out this year and not next year.

Keeping the discussion purely about the visuals...in the end, I don't expect PGR4 to be as visually crisp as GT. You can clearly tell Polyphony has spared no expense in getting those cars right.

The opening movie is CGI Concept Art. It even saids so it the title "GT5 Prologue - Concept Movie (Type C)" The racing around the track is a replay of the game in action I believe.
