The Civilization 5 Hype Thread *Gamespot 9.0*

They can always add religion to an expack (and maybe Civ Revs economic victory, also add a religious victory too). It would be a great addition if they add Byzantium, Spain, Moors, Holy Roman Empire. Basicly all the religious focused civs.

Game is soo fun

8 hours yesterday, 3 hours today and I still want to play more haha :P

In my game I am the Greeks and I am allied with USA.. but they only have one city now.. and its in the middle of my 20 cities lmao! :P

So basically I have 20+ cities around the one USA city protecting it. Gotta go thru the mighty Greeks to get to the last USA city :P

I could crush this little USA city with my missles but I want ot help em since they only have one small city :P

To put the 1UP review in perspective, the same guy gave Deus Ex a 4/10 in PC Gamer.

On the other hand, he's pretty much the only one that gave Empire TW a bad mark...

What is the meaning of the A's? I thought GS used a system that scores games out of 10, not 4.PhotinusPyralis

All this praising is driving my patience for this game even lower. Just 1 more day till it gets released but then when it actually unlocks, and by then the time will be 1:00 AM (I hate my country sometimes:cry: )

Another solid game that I need to play. Halo: Reach has me hooked right now, but I surely will buy Civ. 5 on Steam some time in the near future.

I'm broke.

I'm playing the free week Minecraft, and I played the demo of Recettear, and I just plain can't afford a $50 game.

Maybe, just maybe I'll buy all three, and just live off bologna and cheese for a week or two :P

overly agressive AI? Really GS? May i point out that if your bordered with France, Rome, Germany, Greece, Japan. They WILL declare war on you, they are aggressive nations. Nations have their own personality. Just a heads up GS.

Actually that's the best time to declare War when you think about it. His armies are half way across the world, and he doesn't anticipate an attack from such a long friend.

That sounds like empire's A.I, whenever I would stifle a smaller nation by conquering everyone around them they would declare war on me!

I still havn't got around to playing CIV:4 which i got for 10$ in the steam sale :(
