Consoles are not bad, and you're not better for preferring expensive hardware over cheap hardware. If anything, you're projecting because no one cares about your elitism in something so trite as a hobby.

I never said consoles are bad, but game makers always prefer eye candy over framerate. There are console games that hit 60 fps easily, but you console elitists are so ingrained to like 30 FPS, that major game devs wouldn't care to hit 60 FPS because you guys don't care lol. It's not about elitism, it's about raising your standards.

I'm an enthusiast just like you, and I've done nothing to deserve this kind of treatment just because I'm a game hobbyist. You should really consider how you treat people, and if you want a dark spot on your soul for treating people badly over something so petty.

Telling people they have low standards is not much different than making fun of their race, their age, their religion, their sexuality or gender. It's taking things to far and not the least bit civil.

I mean technically, yeah, you gaming on PC and looking down on console players and telling them "to get higher standards" means you are superior I guess, but your lack of humanity says something about you and how you view others and likely, how they treat you in real life.

PC gamers spend more money on hardware, they could easily afford 4K screens to game on if they wanted them. The fact they actually have the choice and choose frame rate over resolution hype should tell you something. I know quite a few people with 2080TIs that disable ray tracing and play on 1080P so they can sustain a stable 144hz. I have yet to meet a single person with a 2080TI who has decided to game on a 4K monitor. If there was, most other gamers would probably laugh at them.

the only people who care about 120 is PC gamers and TV companies who are trying to convince gamers to upgrade their already perfect fine tv, to a FPS that no one really cares about.

I use my PC on my TV which supports 4K/120hz with G-Sync and VRR. These are amazing features that have been on PC for a while. Console gamers should be embracing them whenever possible as the newer HDMI 2.1 TVs are really good.

Imagine knowing your fanbase is so fucking dumb, that you can market your systems with the magical "4k/120fps", offer 810p/120fps (and barely any games are even able to get to those frames) and have no backlash of people calling your ass out for bs'ing. I wish gamers were bitching as much as do. Those companies wouldn't be able to bullshit at all.

Figures, because 3080s are struggling to reach 30fps with a lot of next gen titles at 4K. That's why most developers fake it with built in upscaling or "dynamic resolution" so the usual citizens of the idiocracy don't piss and moan that they're not actually getting 4K for their new TV. It's comical how strong the placebo effect is with next gen gaming that people don't even realize they're not getting 4K, yet will swear up and down they see a difference.
