Look at the crappy last gen graphics of Gears of War 2 compared to the Crysis Warhead killing graphics of MGS4. You mad about the 10/10?

Well for one thing... Gear 2 is actually HD with broken 2XMSAA. And yes they are bullshots only in native resand AA.

MGS4 is not actually HD. So we don't get that clarity and AA.

I really don't see why people bring up pictures.They are either cherry picked or they don't look like they do in motion.

Games looks better in motion.You can't determine this with screenshots.

Well as of right now at this moment with games that are RELEASED it seems Gears of War 3 is the current console graphics king, beating all other console exclusive and multiplt games released so far AT THE MOMENT. What do you guys believe? I think it's undebatable as of this moment in time.

im only halfway into gears 3 but so far so... brown... and grey. gears 1 and 2 were initially far more impressive.

uncharted 2 has the best set pieces and art style / colour palette but crysis 2 is the best technically

But as far as SW goes it's still Uncharted 2 and it will remain that way until Uncharted 3. It's because Blu Ray makes it graphics and HD better IMO.

Gears of War 3 hands down. It is simply the best looking game on consoles at the moment. It is absolutely stunning and beautiful. I just finished my first playthrough of the campaign and I can tell you that it is just amazing looking. Even the MP looks great. Lol at all the cows who are mad claming that Gears 3 has jaggies everywhere, because I can tell you I didn't see a single one. Granted I didn't look over the entire game with a magnifying glass, but lol at those claims. If DF seriously said this, then they need their eyes checked or new glasses.FPSDad1161

While i will agree that in some ways they look better, i still find it embarassing that in many ways (IMO) HL2 looks better. Certainly, resolution and AA are better, I still think the textures and overall 'clean' look is much more appealing to low res jaggy (and often blurry like killzone) console games.

Seems the consensus is Gears is the best on the 360 but not the best on consoles. It's a tough call between God of War, Killzone and Uncharted.
