sure. we can all pretend that's the case, if it makes you feel better. ;)

God of War 3 it´s an awesome game, no doubt, but it´s best looking moments are quick time events with very little control over the character and no camera control.

Gears 3, on the other hand, looks that great with free gameplay, open areas, as many enemies on screen and 4 player coop. That´s impressive :P

Screenshots do not do this game justice at all, pure awesome in motion. The Freeway and Underwater scenes had me going holy ****.

Before people start complaining about jaggies, it's 1280x720p...there is going to be some. However, that does not distract from the following:

• High quality texture filtering (I would say 4-8xAF)
• Very good object and camera based motion blur
• Lightmass GI = win. Lighting/Shadowing is superb.
• much improved SSAO (vs Gears 2)
• Particle effects are super impressive
• Volumetic effects, full resolution alpha effects, whoa nelly
• Facial animation is very well done
• etc, etc
