Hydralisks can spit acid, and burrow underground. They also have suicide-bombers, a flood of Zerglings Starship troopers style, massive Ultralisks (mutated elephants with blades everywhere, except.. bigger..) Giant flying base-sized transpots, lurkers that can kill a whole platoon of marines in one lined up shot of spines from underground... Oh, and they're workers actually -TURN INTO LIVING BUILDINGS THAT OOZE OUT ITS OWN HABITAT.- =x Kekekekekekekek....

The only way for a metroid to actually control the zerg would be for it to grab a hold of an overlord. None of the other zerg life forms think for themselves the overlord controls their actions. Good luck getting ANYTHING near an overlord.

Zerg. The flood is dependant on other forms of life to fill out it's ranks. But they can't infect other parasites, so they'd have no ability to swell their numbers and win.

Plus, compared to the Zerg, the flood has some weaksauce heavy support, Mutalisks and Hydralisks are quite formiddable, and all Zerg parasites have their wills anchored to their Cerebrates and Kerrigan. The Flood on the other hand, seem to loosely be under the control of Gravemind (who Kerrigan would pwn), and do not seem especially intelligent, as in the Halo games they are always blowing themselves up with rocket launchers, and often forgetting to use weapons they have in their hands.

Chimera, I dunno, haven't played Resistance.

That would need to be the Overmind or Cerebrates. The Overmind controls the Zerg units.

Oh, for the record everybody. GameSpot gave Starcraft: 9.1 WTF?! They gave it a low AAA, when they gave THPS3 a 10? WTF?! StarCraft is so F'in fun that its 4 years later since I last played it, and I'm looking for the CD. =X!

Warcraft 3 has served me well with its custom games...to bad i lost the Frozen Throne CD key
