Haha, glad I'm getting comments that people are hyped for the GOTY now!

I added the first multiplayer pics we've seen for GTAIV btw. They're good for the most part although I don't know what the "RS NYC" stands for. All the pics are on page 1 of this thread in the second post (and there's also updated info on the MP in that section).

I talk to people for a living. Nobody I have ever come across so far in the thousands of young individuals I've talked to had a GS account. Of course I didn't ask every one of them, but you get the point :Pmusicalmac

The real quesion is will the multi be superior to All Points Bulletin or not. Isn't that what that game is called? The MMO cops and robbers?musicalmac

GTA will get credit even if it's half as good.

Who cares, GTA IV is a single player first, the fact that it has MP is a pleasant surprise.

I have a post like that one ^^^ on gametrailers. Heres my little analysis on it.

It looks like mini-games are taken pretty seriously aswell.
Look down the left column and it shows icons for things such as Darts, Bowling, Pool which are obviously mini-games etc.

Also the pay and spray returns dont know if it will get rid of all police wanted levels etc tho or just paint your car.

Looks like its food again to regain health and not health kits as it shows restaurants and 'burger shot'

Its possible to clean your car from dirt aswell as it shows car washes on the map.

Ive noticed their isnt any army bases.
Now I know they are trying to go for more realism in the game but I hope they dont get rid of the ability to drive tanks etc! every gta since 3 (gta3, vice city and san andreas) have all had army bases with tanks etc in them.
If there isnt an army base on this map does that mean there wont be any tanks to chase you or drive?

Also, in the bottom part of the map that shows the 5 different districts of the city it says 'liberty city sights' and shows 4 districts then above the final district (Alderness i think it says) it says 'beyond liberty city' does this mean you can leave the city by plane or something?

Rockstar's getting feisty over the leaked map images. They're asking forums/sites to take them down or they'll threaten with legal action. GTAForums is actually banning users who post the leaked images.

of course theyll be toned down things like texture res but that explosion looks freaking gorgeous.

Yeh i think you can do that in free roam mode. I dont see why it wouldnt let you go around the entire map on free roam mode as if that was also confined to certain areas it would be pretty much the exact same as Deathmatch.
