The only differences between the copies are minor. If you really wish to know them, then here we go:

PS3 has warmer colour pallete and less anti-aliasing issues, but also has a 5 minute installation. Xbox 360 version supposedly looks more clinical. PS3 will also have sixaxis and home support where there will be a rockstar room and achievements will apparently be rewarded with GTA home items. Xbox 360 will recieve to "exclusive" DLC packages. We do not know if these are timed exclusive or perm exclsuives, but either way, don't expect PS3 DLC content til at least Q1 2009.

Think so. I've read every GTAIV previews so it kinda all garbles together in my mind. I assume anti-aliasing issues means it either resolves too many or too few artifacts making the picture too sharp or too blurry.

well, the strange thing is that the PA version has about a GIG less content if we have to believe the Pirates...

The NTSC version was 7 gigs and the Pal verison around 6 Gigs... if true, i wonder what is in that Gig of missing data....

Most likely different compression's on each version....(for all you know pirates messed around with the game data...)

i have no idea.. i'll just wait for the reviews...:P

i think the important thing here is the fact that you take ownership of what you bring in to these boards. if it's something false and obviously inflammatory then people will question your intent.

you can't claim innocence by saying 'i posted a link from the 'blog' and that was it - no comment' by not placing your opinion with your link and quote it's assumed you agree with what you're bringing to the table. if you think it's possibly invalid then qualify it as such.. can't just drag a pitbull inside by the tail and let it go and say 'what?! all i did was bring it in here, i didn't say anything!'

scroll back a page or two. any 'planet X' portions of IGN/GS are just like glorified Gamespot Unions.

they're run by forum members, and fanboys. this crap does not belong here - it's baseless and unsubstantiated and runs contrary to all official comments from T2, Rockstar, and any sites that have done previews of both builds.

I think it is true because the manager was so angry and mad of the opportunist businessman when he was telling me the story and if I was in the businessman's shoes, I would have done the same thing, it is an opportunity before GTA4 hits the official release date.

I hope it doesn't go above the 25KD which is around $80.

i don't get why anyone would think it's credible when it runs contrary to everything official we've heard from Rockstar / Take 2 / countless previews in print and online... but no no no. one IGN forumite says it's 'undoubtedly better' and everything falls apart. 3picuri3

It's SW. Fanboys will pull out anything. I will be away from these forums when GTA4 is released (too busy playing). Thank the heavens because the threads claiming which version is more superior will be endless. Sometimes I don't mind the antics of SW, other days I wonder why I bother. :P

Haha, sounds awesome. One of the reviews mentioned that happening, they said they dragged somebody like 50 feet. They also said that one time they shot a trucker in the head while he was driving, and he slumped forward onto the wheel hitting the horn, but the car kept moving forward because of momentum and ran the player over.

I also saw this other clip yesterday where Niko ran face-first into the side of a moving SUV, and as he was falling he actually grabbed onto the handlebar for a few seconds and was dragged along a little bit. One of the coolest things I've ever seen in a game.

Rofl! Reminds me of when, in other GTAs, you jump into a car and speed off quickly so that the passenger is still in the side seat screaming away as you pelt off :D

Or when you headshot someone through the window in the side seat and they just slup back in the chair and you drive off with this corpse just sitting beside you :P

Did you see that one helicopter which started fish-tailing but actually landed safely? The physics in this game are remarkable. It only landed safely because, literally, it landed safely and at the perfect angle and velocity. If it were at any other angle or speed it would've crashed like the other ones.
