halo isnt rehash, it innovated the genre and saved it.

Well it still got a 10 on Xbox 360 at IGN in all the subjects so apparently its not enough to cause any harm. What I find strange is that Rockstar would use the 360 version for most footage when its weaker in visuals compaired to the PS3 version.

Aside from PS3 vs. 360 discussion in here......is anyone getting the LE (I mean I'm sure some people are gonna buy it) but I can't see shelling out $90 for it. I'm getting the MGS4 LE and that's $85, but it seems like that LE has much more worthwhile stuff. I mean a keychain, duffel bag and a deposit box? WTF for?

i've never seen anything on 20+hours of content. first i seen a few extra episodes, then everyone found out M$ paid big to keep it exclusive so it turned into a whole new island to explore, and now its 20+ hours of extra gamyplay. sorry did i miss out on something. last i heard reportedly all they get is a couple extra missions.

90 dollars seems small compared to the 130 people payed for a halo 3 helmet (im one of them :P)

I thought that DLC was confirmed exclusive for the 360.

Regardles I agree 100%, GTA 4 is going to be great both on the PS3 and 360.

notice every game you listed is a half-assed port that came out much later....show me a simultaneously released multiplat title that isnt a LAUNCH title that was MARGINALLY better on the 360....I cant think of any...or any that matter atleast. DMC4? No, Better on PS3. Burnout? No Better on PS3. GTA4? No, Better on PS3......alot of the multiplat fire fueled in these comparisons is from the scraps rushed for the ps3 launch and for the first year of its life where devs were desperately trying to port over 360 games to an architecture that isnt anything like the 360s to make some quick cash

honestly i'll believe that when i see it.

I've officially made up my mind. I'll get the PS3 version. I would get the 360 version, but I won't have time to play the new content with the rush of great games coming out later this year.

I guess the better load times, crisper gaphics, and less pop ins make it a technically superior game. I'll stilll rent the 360 version to see how much of a difference it is.

True. But I still bought it even though it's not worth it. Well... I guess you can say the Legendary Edition was worth it since it was the last in the series. I have the LE for GTA4. At least it's a better deal since the soundtrack has around 200 songs.

I'm getting the version that is said to be technically superior by credible reviewers. Since I don't care about exlcusive content, the PS3 version seems to be it.

I just can't believe how amazing and epic this game looks, I really didn't believe the PS3 or 360 were capable of something on this scale, I figured next gen we would get a game like this.

the install on the ps3 version probably helped a lot with some of the advantages but i find it hard to beleive the ps3 version has less jaggies when every other multiplat has way more jaggies they probably used more of the filter to reduce them it does a good job on the 360 version im playing...

colours also are always more vivid and pronounced the the 360 versions i guess il have to wait and see them for myself..

It's because companies like Rockstar, Criterion, Infinity Ward took the time to learn how to develope for the PS3 unlike most companies who had strict deadlines to meet and could not get the jist of the new tools for the PS3.

I think this shows that once devs get used to the new programming environment for the PS3 we will see nothing but equal multiplat games.

Dont forget you gotta take into account the multiplayer and controller. I personally have way more friends that are on XBL than PSN and the 360 controller feels better to me. The online will be better for 360 I think since the mic is standard and will be easier to cooperate in matches like Cops-n-crooks.

From all the leaked videos Ive seen I really couldnt tell which came from what, but of course they are all mostly low quailty vidoes anyway. Though I did see one video that was said to be 360 and it seemed to not have any frame drops or popins so Im not too worried. If it turns out to be a huge problem though I always got the PS3 as a backup.
