The Last Guardian... really guys?

Did we watch the same trailer? I saw a very beautiful game, that looks unique. Team ICO does it again IMO.

You guys will play this game in front of your buddies and your gfs if you have them? really? A game about a cute dragon creature helping a boy get through the ruins to some touching music? Seriously? That's what we like to play now? That's what gives us an adrenaline rush and immerses us into a new environment and entertains us? A littly boy with his dragon friend? Seriously? Are we all a bunch of emos that are in touch with our sensitive side now? Let's get serious that trailer was absolute garbage, good idea for a disney movie though. Where's the hype for this game coming from? Team ICO is probably cracking up right now cause they had a bet going that they can take the girliest idea ever and their fans will eat it up.

Wow looks epic:D SotC was the standout game aside from Halo for me last gen so I will have to get a PS3 when this comes out.

Does everything need to be an action shooter? Seriously, Team ICO makes amazing games. Have you played their previous games? They may not make the most bloody and gory games out there, but they make amazing games. The hyp is coming from the fact that it's Team ICO. They are one of the VERY few companies that I can honestly say that their past games have been absolutely amazing. There's not many companies I can say that about.

I sense some serious (seriously) insecure issues in the above post... but if you really want to play a game such The Last Guardian, you can buy it secretly and play it at night with your headphones on, but tell your friends you've played games such as KZ2, Geow2 etc etc..

lol if 360 owners can play Banjo,which isnt even close to being as creative as Little Big planet.Than why not PS3 owners ? Plus The Last Guardian will be action and not what you are thinking...

I can't really comment on the game, but it is a bit hypocritical that most of the people defending it have probably been calling Nintendo kiddy for the past 10 years.

Its an amazing game,most of my gaming friends are already waiting for it.

How exactly can the very best graphics, interesting story, variable gameplay and some of the most awesome sceneryever be Lame? I don't get that.

Certainly looks like a fairytale type theme yes. It reminds me of The Never Ending Story, which was indeed a childrens movie.

Play ICO and Shadow of the Colossus. More mature games than anything with blood, sex or violence.

This thread is so full of fail!! Why doe everything has to result in "while ur playing with your friends or gf"? People played Tamagotchi, Gogoes, Pogs, people didnt complain about that. Whats wrong with a game where u have a cute creature as your guardian? nothing! If you are one of those people who just play games to look cool infront of your friends, then well, you missed out on alot of good games unfortunately

This is my most anticipated game at the momen and don't worry my gf thinks I'm plenty man. :roll:

Oh and i just thought of something else - my girlfriend would love this game! She doesn't play heaps, but something like this is her cup of tea - she just doesn't like excess amount of gore (safe to say she will never play god of war 3 :P)

A game without head shot, blood, gore, sexand shooting 360000000000000 bullet per second isnt for men :P
