I think Chrono Trigger is more something that you either love or just enjoy. I really love the game for what it brings to the table but for one not heavily into RPGs its nothing special I have to admit.

2. Ocarina of Time is still the greatest game ever made (especially for it's time) regardless of a number.

3. The way GameRankings lets some reviews go after certain conditions are met is stupid.

4. Super Mario Galaxy 2 is better than the original anyway.

It shouldn't. Metacritic is a weighted review agrigation site. They give more value to certain sites than others. Seems unreliable for that reason.

I played through it on 3DS and while the overall scale of the game felt small after playing Twilight Princess and Wind Waker, it still felt very modern (considering the series hasn't really changed that much, it should).
