so far for me TP > SS in almost every way. I like SS's plot better though, but there is something to be said for the MM-like dark emotional tone of TP

I'm baffled that people actually like PH and ST. They don't even have dungeons, those things aren't dungeons. They are appropriately colored rat mazes that you use an item to hit a switch with to proceed to the end. Minish cap had fun temple designs artistically, Oracle of seasons had more life in it than the ds games. I couldn't believe how boring they made the dungeons in the games.

Comparing them to TP and SS is preposterous. I like SS better than TP but TP smashes SS in presentation.

I'd say that SS has a much cleaner look to it and the music is less grating, but then again thats more of a personal preference.

Yeah but every boss in TP looks better than SS bosses with an obvious exception of course. Every temple in TP looked cooler than SS and TP had more variety in environments. If it wasn't for how great in between dungeons section were in SS I'd say TP was better but in TP pretty much only the dungeons were fun and the rest was boring but I enjoyed everything in SS.

Eh, as far as the looks of the dungeons only the yeti mansion and city in the sky really clicked with me. Rest kinda felt like slightly bigger versions of Ocarina's dungeons Skyward sword did a great job with dungeon aesthetics for the most part (dat ancient cistern)

The best handheld Zelda games are the Oracle games and Link's awakening. I like them as much as console Zeldas, myself.

SS does most things better than TP. Combat is better, items are more useful, more clever puzzles, more variety in gameplay, better characters.

TP had a better tone and I liked the designs better but that was it. Even the dopey looking SS bosses are a lot funner and hareder than TP's awesome looking bosses.

I never understood the utter hatred for Phantom Hourglass. Yes, it didn't live up to the other games in the series, but damn was it fun.

I will say PH and ST are at least way better than Wind Waker. Bite me, fanboys. :)

YoshiYogurt

Sarcastic? There's no snowball's chance in hell that PH and ST are better than WW. WW has Superior gameplay, graphics, design, dungeons, dialogue, items, story

WW has the stupid triforce fetch quest.

That alone makes it one of the most horrible Zelda game I've ever played.

Going back to the Temple of the Ocean King all the time killed it for me. Mostly because I really hate time limits when I'm trying to solve puzzles.

I knew it! PH was so much better than ST.
