Unusual? It's Mario Kart, on a portable, with PROPER online! I'm expecting stellar reviews if the game is good. I hope it is good as my 3DS will likely go whereever I go if it is.

Been hearing that there no SP in Vs. mode. If that actually for real my hype for this game will go down a lot.

Whatever rocks your boat,but as much as the online stuff is great, the lack of SP Vs is going to kill the short bursts during say between classes or on the bus for example. It also a big step back, which I don't want to see after Mario Kart Wii. I just hope in the end that maybe people are overracting about this and it actually in there, or at least something where you can choose what tracks to race on.

It's gonna get 7.5ed because he couldn't use FPS steering since it'd kill the 3D effect.

I have a good feeling about this!

MK DS was the only nintendo game I ever got competitive with and I'm hoping ths game will re-create that experience.

If not I hope it at least matches MK Wii as that game was fantastic as well, second best MK imo.

Sh*t game, really freakin' overrated. Even if it was good, which it definitely isn't, that doesn't excuse it from the poor performance, issues, and stupidly high system requirements.

Time Trials are boring lol; I want actual races. Anyway I probably still going to get it so it will be the home of my online MP action on the 3DS.

Some good news. I posted in this thread a couple pages back how lame it was that you couldn't control normally in 1st person view. Some recent info mentioned it was gyrsocope only. Well, new video today clearly shows that's not the case:

The Good: Does not rely on dreadful motion controls, good graphics.

The Bad: 3D makes my head hurt, gyroscope controls, bad graphics, feels like the same game every time

If McShea is reviewing this then... I've lost all hope in this either meeting hype or exceeding expectations. After what happened with Skyward Sword, I have a feeling he'll peg it down for recycled content.nintendoboy16

This is true. Skyward Sword absolutely deserved a 10. The game is absolutely brilliant.

McShea just likes to be controversial so that GameSpot will get more ad revenue.

It wouldn't surprise me if the higher-ups at CBS gave McShea a bonus for reviewing Skyward Sword the way he did.
