Halo, Guitar Hero, CoD, Mario, Dynasty warriors and FIFA.

Final Fantasy. First you got 13 main games. Then you have the spin offs like Crisis Core, X-2, etc. Then you have games of completely different genres with the FF title/ characters - Chocobo Racing, Dissidia, and I think there was a Cloud snowboarding game too... Lastly you have two animes and two movies. I'm probably forgetting stuff but you get the point.teh_VU

*reads other comments* For the three who posted Halo, you just hate the series or something. Currently there are four Halo games, and one will be out this Fall. Five games in nine years is not milking a franchise.

5 games / 9 years = Halo, the non-milked franchise.

Now for Call of Duty:

11 games / 7 years = COD, the (I'm not sure) franchise. I counted the two games I counted all the games, not just COD1/2/3/4/5/6/7

If Halo is on it way to being milked with 5 games in 9 years, better add Killzone, and Resistance both have 3 games, in 3 years for Resistance and 5 years for Killzone. Also Ratchet & Clank it has 8 games and one addon within 8 years.

What do you think is the most milked franchise? A game that never gets mentioned when it comes to milkage is ratchet and clank, theres been loads of them and their all basically all the same..

I don't see how stopping a mod using copyrighted stuff would be milkage, it happened a bit in the mod with (with big TCs such as the Halo Mod). The comics and books would not be enough to be milked.

Also Killzone 2 has 2 maps for $6, and Resistance also has maps that you have to pay money for, and they been out for alot less than Halo. Also is the Halo movie happening I heard that it was canned.

The sims hands down but I think final fantasy, pokemon and mario run it pretty close.

Pokemon as well, but I actually enjoy the main games. They are some of my favorites. It's the spin-off games that give the franchise its milkiness to me.

On Recent concoles I would say Guitar Hero

IMO you cant milk sports games since people are drafted each year and new coaches, plays, players, strategies and features are implimented. Other than that I would say the mario franchise.
