Guitar Hero, MegaMan, final Fantasy, the Sims, Pokemon, Mario,Sonic, Madden,Crash Bandicoot,Street fighter,(especially SF2). That's all I can think of ATM.

ratchet and clank is milked pretty bad, like 7-8 games and only been out since last gen

Easily Mario!

Mario isn't a franchise. He's a character. I don't see how putting him in a game automatically counts as milking. That's like saying that because a game has a Blizzard logo, it's milking.

madden for crying out loud, , could say football in general theres just little room for improvment excluding the wii , without wii , , theyd be just roster updates for the same price every year its getting rediculous,

sonic this game went from awsome to dull within the last gen , i dont know how many sonic games their are since sega went down but you know what its more then any other series sega tried , lol

and halo, since the 360 came its been nothing but a halo fest , , first with halo 3 , then halo on xbox originals, halo wars then halo odst coming

hasnt microsoft got anything besides halo this year , probably not , not counting n64 ports of banjo

Mario....If your a fan of the game then your really don't mind be milked. I have bought and enjoyed many of the Mario spin offs. So please Nintendo keep milking away because I will keep buying. I can't believe how long it has taken hudson to come out with a new Mario Party. HarlockJC

Wait, how have I got it backwards? ROT3K is a lengthy series with many spinoffs. I'm aware of all of the other media that has been put out with the series (which further strengthens my point), I'm just not sure how that makes what I said backwards.

And I've read the novel, but I'm not sure what that has to do with milking...

NEWS FLASH!!!!! Anyone who did not put John mutha @!?}'n Madden at the top of their list is either too young to remember just hold long ago the franchise started OR too niave to realize that you ARE ESSENTIALLY playing and paying $50 - $60 for THE SAME GAME EVERY YEAR. The only true change is the roster (Which nowadays can be updated through DLC). The object of the game will NEVER CHANGE because the object of football will never change. At ABSOLUTE WORST..........Madden should be within the top 3 most milked franchises in gaming history.

There is NO franchise more milked in the gaming industry than Star Wars. Every system (and arcades) since the dawn of video gaming has had an iteration or 10 of this franchise. All other franchises pale in comparison to this giant milk machine.

Oh come the *bleep* on already. Halo and COD don't even come close to Madden, Tony Hawk (can't believe how many people missed that one), Dynasty Warriors, Final Fantasy, Pokemon, Mario or Sonic. Hell, not even if you combined the two, would they exceed any one of them in reiterations.

There is NO franchise more milked in the gaming industry than Star Wars. Every system (and arcades) since the dawn of video gaming has had an iteration or 10 of this franchise. All other franchises pale in comparison to this giant milk machine.
