I've come to this conclusion all by myself lol. What is so great about the ps3's exclusive games?

you can't get them on any other system, most all of them are high scoring and higher scoring than the 360's exclusives. especially counting this last year

Uncharted, GOW all look pretty but are nothing revolutionary and aren't going to sell consoles.

Uncharted did sell consoles (there was even a bundle for it) GOW isn't done so you can't say whether or not its revolutionary, worst case scenario its a revamped graphically better version of the first 2 which were really fun and scored real well. don't see a problem there

They've lost Final Fantasy as well as MG at this point.

ps3 lost ff13 and the new mgs game. the 360 owners get the mgs with Raiden, now thats a win :roll: ps3 owners get to keep their mgs4 and FFvs13... what were you saying about exclusive games again?

I can play gears on the 360 which is just as good as uncharted.

I just notice alot of opinions in this writing. Also gears wasint revolutionary one bit. It stole a cover system from a game called killswitch and just improved on it a bit. Also a game doesint have to be revolutionary to be good. It also seems you never played an adventure game in your life since you cant see thats what Heavy rain is.

Actually with the newest patch added is an optional feature. In other words noone is forcing you to use it. You can still play the same ol way.

The Sony and PS3 bashing around here is so funny. If the system is so overhyped,overrated,expensive,etc... then why do you people keep making threads about it? I dont like the 360 but I dont make threads about it every other day saying how much it sucks,is faulty,etc... I think alot of you people are just angry you cant afford a PS3. The system is very good at what it does. Multimedia,games,blu ray,etc.. The system is worth the money. If some of you people actually spent time with it you would know. But I guess it's just easier to bash something you probably only played at a store kiosk,cant afford,jealous of the games it's getting,etc... No amount of hate will stop others from buying the system. Sony launched this system to alot of hate and bashing. They have weathered the storm but have a ways to still go. The way the PS3 is rebounding is great. The sales may not be hot right now but that does not take away from how good a system it is. The PS3 was not overpriced to me and Im sure alot of other people. I get my full use out of it. HD tv,multimedia,blu ray,etc... The only thing I need next is a home theatre set up.

I think most SW users are Sony fans so I agree. Still the PS3 is an awesome system.

There are A LOT of sony fans here. Every poll always goes towards PS3 while other sites like IGN and 1up always go to the 360.

Personally , I think it's nowhere near the glory as it's predecessor, but all in all it's an amazing console. some people overyhype tit tho. And, some people overhype the 360, butnot nearly as many during the past 2 years on SW

To everyone who says that sony going blu-ray was a bad idea, fail to realize these 2 major things:

1. Blu-ray was actually losing to HD-DVD up until the ps3 came out. After the ps3 came out, HD-DVD sales got trampled by blu-ray sales almost every month, even when Transformers came out exclusively to HD-DVD, it still got outsold by blu-ray sales. So in essence, the ps3 having a blu-ray player in it helped the sony format from seeing another pitiful death like Betamax, UMD, and mimi cd's.

2 I can pull up plenty of dev stating that sony did the right thing by incorporating the blu-ray format this gen. In fact, many dev praised the 360 for being so powerful and easy to develope on, but also bashed m$ for keeping the dvd-9 format this gen. Sony went the right direction with the blu-ray format, they just executed the idea very poorly.

1) I'm sure gamers are very happy that they pay more for their system just so Sony could win the format war.

2) Blu-ray has been more of a hindrance this generation than a aid, just look at the number of PS3 games with mandatory installs compared to 360. That's what happens when you adopt an optical disk before it reaches speeds that exceed the previous generation format.
