The 2 unreleased games where not bloodborn and the order, the other unreleased game that people are waiting for on the PS4 is uncharted, which I had bolded in my quote chain. If Uncharted is to release during the holiday season like its intended too, the PS4 will have experienced its 3rd holiday season making it a little over 2 years old.

Outside of infamous the PS4 doesn't have any other retail games rated AAE or above, the Xbox one and WiiU individually both have more than that at this time, the Xbox one even launched with an AAAE, something the PS4 currently lacks, which implies the PS4 is currently playing catch up and not "dominating"

Its hypocritical to try and say the other systems have shit because of flopped games like Halo, and then in the same paragraph turn around and praise a flopped the order 1886 because its better than nothing, which leads your argument to appear to be irrational.

The Order 1886 damage control? ... i piss on that game, literally. I'd buy it for ten or twenty dollars tops or not at all, heck i was hella disappointed with Driveclub at the beginning but that doesn't change the outcome of this generation and i hear is playable right now.

The new Kirby game, one of iconic Nintendo franchises albeit not the strongest, received some bad criticism on gamespot, for example and still the WiiU appears to be shaping up as the first runner up. Ready at Dawn and Evolution studios are not the warhorses that turned the tides of the console war in their favor last gen, those have yet to release their biggest projects. It's silly not to see the tried and true potential they have and the impact of their games.

The king is back on top. PlayStation will ALWAYS be a bigger brand than xbox. This is a fact. The only reason PS3 didn't dominate last gen is because Sony chose not to.

When the system starts out at $600 and still manages to catch up to the xbox360 and surpass it in sales, you know the xbox brand is not that strong. When given a choice, people choose PlayStation every single time. Xbox fanboys will have to accept the fact that they will never win a console generation.

I agree with hat you are saying as far as sales are concerned but as far as first party exclusives go the PS4 is being obliterated by the Wii-U.

every Major Exclusive title on the PS4 has flopped, which has really shocked me to be honest, Better than the xbone but getting killed in games by the least selling weaker system.

And i know you probably don't want to hear this but PSN is still behind XBL as an online service, PS+ is a great service but it still lacks the intergration, Seemlesness and stability that XBL has.

Agreed. Just the nature of the world. But I always was an underdog lover. I wouldn't say the xbox brand isn't strong. It isn't as strong as PS brand but the X1 probably passed the WiiU in sales and is selling at the pace of the 360.

Dude it wasn't senseless hatred. It was human nature. When your on top and say things like "next gen doesn't start until we say so; PS3 will be able to do 4D and 120 FPS; people will get two jobs in order to afford it" then they needed the bitch slap back to earth the Wii and 360 gave them. Last time Sony was a runaway success two gens in a row, they made the block head blunders with the PS3 that allowed the competition back into this. Everything great about the PS4, price, architecture being easy to dev for is a direct result of seeing their own arrogance slap them in the face. Now remove the competition? Yeah that would work out wonderfully for all of us and the industry in general.

Wow this really is proof that life is a subjective experience. I have been posting here about 9 years now and no fucking way in hell the Sony fanboyism has not been the most arrogant I have ever come across in my 35+ years of playing video games. I mean all factions have their beauties, but the world wide leader sells the most 3/4 gens it stands to reason they have the most fans. And god some act like they are receiving Yen for supporting them. I own Sony ADRs so I actually have a stake in the stock.

But like I said, its subjective. When you see others praising Sony its status quo to you, but the lemmings that bash them really must stand out for you. I lean towards the lem side, I just have had more fun gaming on Xbox over the years, but I have always owned a PS. I wont pass up great games.

As far as last-gen commentary goes, Sony brought all that on themselves it wasn't a fanboy conspiracy against Sony or cows.

Also, "just wait" turned out to be true and the gen had legs. Worked out for Sony. Sony went x86 for devs with unified mem and matched Live, and in some way made a more lucrative deal with PSN.

So PS4 has almost doubled XO sales and will have a 10mil lead. AgentA-Mi6 your answer is to repeat the same folly you're calling out in this thread. Just like last gen, games will decide the outcome, and I'm sorry but Infamous, Uncharted 4, and Bloodborne over 2yrs with a basket full of flops is not exactly the paradigm of gaming majesty like you claim it is.

It is amazing now isn't it? I remember finding this place at my then girlfriend's house on her Mac. I don't doubt Xbox ones were spiteful. They had to listen to the sales AND the library of exclusives through the PS2 generation. But it went to Sony's head, they didn't take into account if game development costs rise, then 3rd parties simply must go multiplat. And losing all that 3rd party exclusivity hurt them. Their first party is good. I know many cows cream their jeans about them, but many of the games, especially JRPGs I couldn't give two shits for. Give me my Uncharted, GoW, throw in a Bloodborne or Demons souls and that's all I need from them. Even KZ fell off for me. On the other side the HaloGearsForza is a supposed insult but replace Forza with Fable, give me my Remedy games, Scalebound and I am in.

I agree with you. The absolute arrogance to state that a competitor's new console isn't beginning a new gen? I remember Sony called it the Xbox 1.5 well shit, what is the WiiU then? The Xbox 1.8? But in the end, we the consumers benefitted. Sony ate humble pie, made some great games that gen, but really went into the corporate think tank with a better plan for the PS4. I still don't know who at MS thought it was a good idea to shoehorn ALL that into the console up front. Yes I do believe streaming and having to be online is going to be in the future of consoles. But damn MS was stupid with trying to execute it out the gate, all at once. And the no used game thing? Come on......................

It's only winning the sales war, which doesn't matter in the meta, and which is something Cows gave zero shits about when the Wii won in sales last gen.

• Sony, being the only company that cares about others, is the only family member on the ER.
• Now... its up to Sony, whether they wish to be merciful, and have Microsoft disconnected from the machines, so they can transcend into heaven, and meet the lord and savior, Yeesus.

Just one question, if the PS4 and PS3 are doing so well, maybe someone can explain why the Vita has failed in virtually every single market besides Japan.

Sony is doing well, but their success is only in home consoles right now. Plus, they don't even have the best selling system of this generation yet. That honor belongs to the 3DS, which has utterly destroyed the Vita in terms of sales.

Thing is, nobody is the dominant company right now. Sony is the king of home consoles but is being beat in the very badly handheld market, while its the reverse for Nintendo who has a very good selling handheld, but a poor selling home console that is dead last. Microsoft is kinda in the middle, having enough success to keep up with Sony and stay ahead of Nintendo in the home console market.

No company is the clear leader right now, since all three are doing well in their own ways.

I think we all remember the PS3 playing catch-up all generation long.
