Shane and the people on 1UP are sensationilizing having a high failure rate in their office. So is that EA dude. And the majority of the reports on forums all across the world are made up by Sony shills. Gamesindustry don't know what they're talking about either. Furthermore, UK's Watchdog and the Netherlands' Kassa, as well as the European Commissioner for Consumer Protection are all being payed off by Sony to make up stories about disc scratching.

Matt wrote about it in his blog. 1UP talked about it for 2 minutes in a 2 hour long podcast, 3 months later. And that's pretty much all the gaming media has dared to say about the subject for over a year. How is that sensationalism? If anything it's suspiciously suppressed.

I just today got thethree red lights.. I could restart it though. But I'm still pissed. I've only had it since January.

I have had the red lights problem on two xboxes now. Im on my third as it stands. Of course the problem exists. Why would anyone really bother to lie about it, it doesnt make any sense. I have never met you or anyone on these forums in real life and I would never feel the need to prove that I have had the lights. If you dont believe it exists then there is no real need to worry about it as youre xbox is going to fine.

Just to make the point as well, I always had adequete air flow going over my power brick and nothing was choked in a corner. These things just happen it seems. New technology always brings a glut of new problems and this seems to be one of them. I hope you never get them as it is a horrible thing to see and then you need to mess about with replacements and tech support.

I love my 360, but the thing is flimsy. I shouldn't always have to worry that my game console is going to break down, but I do... with the old Xbox I was more worried about stubbing my tow on the thing thatn it breaking.
