The Wii isn't even in the same league as the PS3 and 360...

it doesn't have HD graphics, no good online play, no good dashboard to watch movies and stuff. It's purely JUST a gaming machine. and a damn good one. However, sony and microsoft made gaming machine's into a combination of gaming and home entertainment. Nintendo just doesn't deliver in that department.

so even though the wii has a great library and im sure their are lots of ppl who play the wii more than ps3 or xbox, despite that, and sales, can we all agree that the wii is the worst console this gen?

Actually, the xbox 360 is technically a bit more powerful than the PS3 from what I've read. The PS3 just has more complicated architecture. At least that' what I've read. You didn't present any facts either, so there is nothing to face. Ps3 and 360 have a lot of games that i want to play, but in my opinion Wii is the best console this gen. Apparently, PS3 is the best in your opinion. Let's just leave it at that.

I don't know why the obsession with blood. Blood is the first thing I turn off (if I can) right after the music. I've seen enough blood when I used to butcher chicken and pigs for meat. I don't need to see them (blood) in my games.

ps3/360 games are awesome but i prefer nintendo games and 3rd party games for the console..strange but i just do.

Just to be clear, do you imply that Other M does not 'hold your hand' (whatever that means) or it does, but it's still good?

Personally, Other M is just as "hand holding" as any top rated game on the HD consoles like Uncharted 2, I never paused to think hey this is too easy. I think people refer to hand holding in Other M as another way of saying why did you lock the doors, I want exploration!!

The point of the locked doors was for the game to be more cinematical with high pace and for what it is I liked it. It was also the first Metroid game to make me feel 'isolated', maybe because of the locked doors? :P

Red steel 2: a lame shooter Twilight Princess: more dull than OoT (not saying it's bad) Super Mario Galaxy: Some of the levels felt like gimmicky mini games, and it was just too easy, and has some of the worst boss fights ever; it lacked the exploration/free roam available in Super Mario 64 Super Mario Galaxy 2: a bit better than SMG, but not that great Mario Kart Wii: Much easier than other Mario Karts, for better or for worse, AND lacks content (anyone who played Mario Kart DS knows this) A few hyped Wii titles (1st party) and trust me, I DO have a Wii, and I DO have these games. Add sonic colors to that list. Even though sonic colors is in 30fps it still looks pretty good.

I happened to have played those games.... (I may also add that a lot the Wii has is just more of the same) Metroid Prime 3: Beautiful. Raised the bar for my expectations (on the Wii) and In my opinion, may actually compete with it's HD rivals. Twilight Princess: You got to be kidding me. Link himself has a nice looking character model, but the low res textures, lighting and etc. are all so bland looking! Super mario Galaxy: As with all games with a heavy dependence on its art style, not every bit will look nice, but water reflection/enemy models and certain parts look good. Okami: No. JUST No. No More Heroes: Cel shaded graphics suck, at least NMH doesn't look as bad as Ultimate Spiderman Kirby's Epic yarn: a bit heavy for my taste, but I won't deny it, it looks stunning. Now if only it had better resolution... Donkey Kong Country Returns: Pretty derivative in my opinion Mario Kart Wii: sharp, but nothing impressive. Other M: Slipped my mind... yeah it looks good.

Twilight Princess was a good game, although it wasn't my favorite Zelda in the world and I only gave it an 8.0 in my review for it. Kirby's Epic Yarn has gotten an average of 9.0 despite being possbilythe easiest game out there. With the exception of Gamespy all of the Donkey Kong Country Returns scores have been very high, even Gameinformer gave it an 9.5. And the Wii does have a few well known M rated titles for their hardcore players. Mad World got fairly good marks, as did No More Heroes and Dead Space Extraction.Other lesser known gamesthat haverecievedgreat reviews Sin and Punishment: Star Sucessor, Red Steel 2, Monster Hunter Tri, and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

I don't understand why people cannot get past graphics. Yes we know that the Wii isn't up to par with the 360 and PS3. Nintendo never claimed it was. Why are we still arguing over this 4 years later? The Wii still has some of the best games this gen! Best platformer = SMG2, best fighter = SSBB. (imo of course) And out of this latest FPS releases I have had the most fun with Goldeneye Wii. And the Wii does have a few well known M rated titles for their hardcore players.
