The XBOX 360 is going to hold back GTA4 from Meeting it's potential

It's not powerful enough, and the biggest thing is it still uses the DVD(PS3 uses Blu-Ray).

This isn't a knock on the XBOX 360, it's just the truth, and Rockstar has already said it.

Rockstar is forced to dumb down the game so that both games will be at near the same level(even though the PS3 version will probably be better).

It sucks that it still isn't exclusive because the game would no doubt be better if it was exclusive to the PS3.

The cool thing about Unreal Tournament 3 is that the PS3 version is going to get all the great content. Epic isn't going to dumb downt he PS3 version so they'll be similar. The 360 version is going to have less content.

this kinda thing isnt new. thats why re3 exists. the sega Saturn couldnt handle what was supposed to be code Veronica, so capcom decided to make a different game entirely. a dimmed down one (though re3 is still my favorite :P)

I think that the 360 has also held back Genji, Lair, Motorstorm, Formula one: Championship edition, Rfom and Full Auto 2 from reaching their full potential.

All of the GTA 3 trilogy made it onto DVD. Mass Effect made it on to DVD. Oblivion made it onto DVD. GTA 4 can make it onto DVD.

If anything, all consoles hold games back, as each system has strengths and weaknesses that negatively affect multi-plats.

Dude, it's as plain as can be. Dan Houser, the creative VP at Rockstar said that BOTH systems have their own respective problems.

At the end of the day, it doesn't really matter what you THINK is the case here. He actually works for the company making the game in question. I think I'll take his word over yours any day.

Wrong again. GTA4 was gonna be a PS3 timed exclusive. So it was developed for PS3 first.
