It's not powerful enough, and the biggest thing is it still uses the DVD(PS3 uses Blu-Ray).

This isn't a knock on the XBOX 360, it's just the truth, and Rockstar has already said it.

Rockstar is forced to dumb down the game so that both games will be at near the same level(even though the PS3 version will probably be better).

It sucks that it still isn't exclusive because the game would no doubt be better if it was exclusive to the PS3.

The cool thing about Unreal Tournament 3 is that the PS3 version is going to get all the great content. Epic isn't going to dumb downt he PS3 version so they'll be similar. The 360 version is going to have less content.

With all due respect to Rockstar, no one is stopping them from making two different games for each console. Ohhh, but they want that profit. Sort of makes you not care anymore. And, if they had to make it for one console, it wouldn't be PS3. So, fanboys and Rockstar needs to shut it.

First off, Mass Effect is not 70 hours, it's like a 20 hour game.

2nd, even if what you're saying is true about in game engines and filling up space, Many of the top games are CGI heavy(MGS, FFXIII). So they couldn't be done on the 360.

It would be more likely that the ps3 version had more variety of plants. The disadvantage of the 360 not having a standard HDD is that 360s with no HDD cant store data in the cache for later use.

I think Rikusaki was talking about 2D sprites instead of fully 3D plant models, but yea, the cause of pop in or pop up (whatever its called) is when the data doesn't get loaded into ram fast enough, and if what you say about blu ray having a slower read speed than dvd9 is true than Rikusaki looses both ways.

The Blu-Ray drive is fast. In Ratchet and Clank, it loads so fast, you never notice it. It loads while you are in the level and it is very smooth.

But since they are not it tends to point to them having done a deal with Microsoft rather than lacking space on a DVD.

Just like Lair devs said its not possible on 360. Just like Ubisoft said the next splinter cell isn't possible on ps3. Uncharted could be done on 360. I've played the demo and while looks great its nothing special. And the 4 discs is what? A heavily CGI cutscene intensive game. Mass Effect is 6.74 GB's and has 70 hours of gameplay which is about as long as guess what, Blue Dragon which is on 3 discs. FMV or CGI cutscenes take up way more space. Games that use in game engine for cutscenes have yet to fill up a single DVD9. Oh and Oblivion is another example of a game that took maybe barely over half of the space on a DVD9. That game was a long game too. 100+ hours i think. Wasn't there a ps1 game that was on 4 discs or more. Yes there was. No one complained then. Why are you making it such a big deal now. I know your just a die hard cow that can't take it that GTAIV is getting exclusive content on the 360 which the ps3 will never see light of day.

And of course there was games for the PS1 that had 4 discs. Final Fantasy VIII is one of them and that came out like 5 years after the PS1 and there wasn't a better/cheaper format avaliable.

360 has a 3 disc game like a year and a half after release. And already has a 4 disc game too.

you obviously haven't played a bioware game. the main story alone is gonna be 20hrs. Its gonna take alot more time to complete all the sidequests that are in the game. You know that CD's were the best format at the time and it still took 4 CD's for FF VIII.
