Yeah... theres no way around that, aside from saying you only like Tekken to laugh at Sony and that Dark Resurrection is on PSP (which doesn't make sense, since it is not the 360 and thus a console you should hate), you claim that Halo is best played ona console. An FPS, best played... on a console, I've played Halo, and a mouse and keyboard set up is still more enjoyable, not to mention the extra Brumak chapter in the PC Gears.
You are fun when you contradict yourself and tell people you are not biased despite comments like these.
Final Fantasy XI AND XIII made it on the 360, XIV will as well. And Dark Resurrection is on the PSP too.... Tekken 6 is coming to the 360 and I like it just because I get to laugh at another lost Sony exclusive.
No, MMO's are best played on PC's. Period. MMO's are meant for PC's, but a game like Halo and Gears is meant for consoles.

Same as FPS and RTS are, ask Blizzard and father of your beloved genre John Carmack himself.
I think he left to go cry at his 360.
Whatever, I feel in the mood to go play some 360 now actually, if theres one thing I like about the 360 its the equation of preteenkids + mics- maturity= instant quote.
Actually I'll just play on my cousins Wii, it really is the most innovative console this gen ;)
I stopped reading this whole thing after you sig. Everything there is EVOLUTION. We've seen wireless controllers, cameras, achievements all before.. There just better, and refined on the 360.
Oh, and the built in Wifi on the 360 is the best. ;)

Thank you good sir, I just avoided sinking to his level and saying something dumb like HALO SUX!!! Just pointing out his contradictions are easy enough since he's full of them, and as someone whos played all sides I have to say its dumb to argue about such a thing so fervently, you know? Its like, get a life, games are for fun, people have opinions.

Halo 3 is all about the experience too as well as gameplay. I mean Halo 3 is a Triple AAA, 10 million selling, mega game and Killzone is just there... what else id d you wanme to think?
Free three year warranty.
TC, you FORGOT the 54% FAILURE RATE that ACTIVATES the free three year warranty!
It seems the only bad thing you can say about Killzone right now it that its just... there, seriously?
That makes no sense, I could just say the same exact thing about Halo 3 and it would make the same amount of sense. Besides, if sales mean a game is good I guess Wii play must be the greatest game ever made, and much better than Halo 3!!!
And you forget that 54% is an absurd number, and that the numbers given by Microsoft are MUCH lower. 2% for the Jasper chipset in fact. Also, what did Sony do when the PS2 and PS2 slim had similar problems? Oh, that's right.... nothing...Free three year warranty.

Agreed. 54% is an absurd failure rate. It should have never happended. MS shouldn't have been in such a rush for first mover advantage.
And after the 54% failure rate was known MS should have issued a recall and FIXED RROD.

Very clever  The failure rate is not even close to 54%...Yep, and yet its still enjoyed and has very high review scores across the board. It may not be original, but its an FPS, you point and shoot.
I might as well call Halo 3 a Half-Life clone since it features aliens and shooting, that seems to be the logic you are abiding by.
A few console innovations because of the Xbox 360:
- Achievements. Gaming without achievements is no longer the same.
- Wireless controller standard
- Guide button
- Detachable hard drive
- Free three year warranty
- RTS, WRPGs and FPS that actually work on a console (incredible)
- Best controller ever
- Project Natal.... best non-controller ever
- Xbox Live Arcade
- Netflix
- Xbox Live Primetime (ie 1vs100)
- NXE
- XNAAHUGECAT
Wow, this will be easy.
Achievements don't add ANYTHING to gameplay....just a meaningless score.
Wireless controller standard? Your joking right?
Guide button? A nice convenience is all it is.
Detachable hard drive. Consoles getting hard droves is simply consoles copying PC's. Also, being detachable not even worth mentioning.
Three year warranty is only because of how crappy the original production quality of the 360 was.
No, RTS's do not work on consolesand FPS's don't 'work' any better than they did on the PS2.
Xbox Live Arcade.....there are thousands of websites that are essentially the same thing, except most of them are free.
Nice try though.

Halo 3 and Half-Life look nothing, and play nothing, like each other. Killzone 2 is just a COD set in the future (or whatever). I think that's why KZ2 sold so poorly - why buy KZ2 when you can play the real deal (Modern Warfare)?

Sony keeps trying to catch up but just looks a poor imitation (their triggers for their DS3 are garbage compared to 360's, PSN is a joke compared to LIVE, Resistance and Killzone 2 are nothing compared to Gears/Halo 3, trophies aren't as good as achievements, etc. etc.).A lot of people like the SNES and PS2... but those weren't really innovative consoles. PS2 especially. PS2 was so outdated it even only included 2 controller ports AND had no ethernet/hard drive!

The PS3 is the most innovative console of all time
A few console innovations because of the Play station 3:
- free Online gaming experience which is at par with the 360
- ability to use a browser to go on msn, youtube, watch movies
- first console to include a blu-ray player
-Most innovative semi-motion controller which has SIXAXIS
- lightest controller that recharges and can be used from far away (blue tooth technology) with good dpad
- trophy system
- detachable hard drive
- upto 256 player onine gaming experience
- the ability to not use any sort of a warranty.
- the play station store
- super precision with motion psWand
- offering the best 3D gaming hang out , out there. PS HOME (not to mention its FREE)
- the ability to spend exactly the amount of money on the PS Store. Not using points that go wasted or used on stuff that is not needed.
- play station Eye
- Exclusives
- many usb ports.
- and many more
Microsoft really has to rally try and catch up with the amount of Ps3 exlusives that are going to come out as well as the current 299 price. Xbox live is a joke compared to the FREE playstation network. Killzone 2 , resistance 2 are crazy compared to the noob friendly - Halo 3. ( I like geow2). Whats the difference between trophies and achievements - NONE.
Alot of people liked the 360 when it came out, but now with the ps3's price at the same, it offers better gaming for a cheaper price (without online fees) as well as including a blu- ray players, which yet alone costs around 100.

Achievements add countless hours of gameplay to each game Yes, Microsoft was the first to include wireless controllers with their consoles Atleast you admit the guide button was innovative, and that it is quite useful Detachable hard drives means that I'll always have my savegames and downloaded data no matter what, even if I do get one of the 2% of Jaspers that fail Atleast the 360 got a 3 year warranty from Microsoft. What did Sony do when PS2's and PS2 slims were failing everywhere? Nothing RTS's work quite well on the 360, and FPS's shooters for consoles were revolutionized and perfected by MicrosoftNice try though.
The video card is definitely the most innovative in a console, and it's development led to DX10 and DX11 video cards. That alone is quite an accomplishment...-GeordiLaForge-
Remember that DirectX is only lib, it's nothing hardware related. DX9 card can use some DX11 features. By saying that card support X version of DirectX (Direct3D) it means that everything needed to fully use that version of DirectX and lower, mostly the shader model version support deside that.

You doing exact same thing as he do...
yup exactly. Lol its just to show that anyone can do what he did and show that its his opinion while others have one too.
Saying Half-Life and Halo look nothing alike and then saying CoD and Killzone look the same just goes to show how shallow your perceptions are.
I'm pretty much done, it was fun for a while but I fear you might say something that gives anyone who reads it a lower IQ, I'll just go now with the satisfaction that you do nothing to give people a better opinion of the average 360 owner, and its bad enough to think most of them are pre teens who invent new cus words out of anger and love Halo enlessly.
Then again, aside from the cusword part (which can get you banned here), that seems to perfectly describe you. You don't know what an opinion is, but keep forcing yours on people as fact so obviously there is no point in proving you wrong further since you will just come up with new ways to de-evolve us all by calling Killzone a CoD clone, but not realizing that its enough like CoD that a Halo/Half-Life comparison is perfect.

A few console innovations because of the Xbox 360:
- Achievements. Gaming without achievements is no longer the same. I guess it's an amazing thing, if you aren't able to achieve things in real life.
- Wireless controller standard It didn't create the standard. Its competitors(Wii and PS3) already planned wireless controllers before the Xbox 360 came out. If anything, the PS3 controller has the upper hand, since it's the only controller that doesn't have to use AA batteries. AA batteries were last generation. Lithium ion is where it's at now.
- Guide button I can't argue there, other than saying something like "The guide button is just a glorified start button".
- Detachable hard drive PS2 and PSP already did this. And the PS3 allows you to upgrade to, say, a 1TB hard drive since Sony decided not to be greedy and gave their customers freedom.
- Free three year warranty As one of many of M$'s "apologies" in the form of handouts for making their customers' lives miserable with their defective products.
- RTS, WRPGs and FPS that actually work on a console (incredible) PS2 already did this.
- Best controller ever The controller is just okay, but nowhere near as good as the Playstation's has been for many years.
- Project Natal.... best non-controller ever http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gOVj_I5npA Do you seriously believe everything M$ tells you?
- Xbox Live Arcade Xbox LIVE is nothing but a Steam rip-off.
- Netflix If I really wanted to watch a Netflix movie online and on the go, I would get my laptop. If I wanted to watch a movie on my gaming console, I would just download it or put the DVD in. If I wanted to watch a movie on the go, but didn't have room for my laptop, I would pull out my PSP.
- Xbox Live Primetime (ie 1vs100) Buzz! Quiz TV for PS3.
- NXE Was a rip-off of Sony's Xcross Media Bar.
- XNA It's called a developer kit. Just about every PC game has some form or another of dev kit. That's mainly how PC gamers make mods. Does this seem familiar? http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SDK_Docs
and so much more
Sony keeps trying to catch up but just looks a poor imitation (their triggers for their DS3 are garbage compared to 360's, PSN is a joke compared to LIVE Because PSN is free, gets updated more often and doesn't shove ads down your throat every time you boot up the console, right?, Resistance and Killzone 2 are nothing compared to Gears/Halo 3 Yeah, they're nothing... nothing short of superior to Gears of War and Halo 3 in every way. And if want a game that can possibly be compared to Gears of War, see Uncharted. It's like Gears, but with smarter AI, platforming, puzzle solving, a much much better story, and better shooting mechanics, trophies aren't as good as achievements Why? Because trophies actually give you something to look at? Achievements just give you some useless, meaningless points. What are you supposed to do with them, except measure how much time you've wasted getting those points? , etc. etc.).A lot of people like the SNES and PS2... but those weren't really innovative consoles. PS2 especially. PS2 was the console that nearly everyone had, because it was cheap and had a HUGE amount of games. The only thing Xbox had, and the only thing the Xbox 360 has, is Halo. PS2 was so outdated it even only included 2 controller ports AND had no ethernet/hard drive! Later on, it got hard drive support, and was able to go online. Now, it's the Xbox 360 that's outdated. You've got to buy an accessory for $100 just to use WiFi, the power supply unit(power brick) isn't even in the console, not every console is capable of HDMI, and the thing runs nearly as loud as a vacuum cleaner to boot! And, just to seal the deal, it's got a 33% failure rate. You're right. The Xbox 360 is the most rushed, unfinished console I've ever seen.

Killzone 2 plays almost exactly like COD - from the online multiplayer, to the jump/sprints/zooming, it's a COD4 clone to the bone. It's like Guerilla just got COD4's multiplayer, added a few things to it and slapped a Killzone skin on it. It's not unique at all.
I'm pretty much done, it was fun for a while but I fear you might say something that gives anyone who reads it a lower IQ, I'll just go now with the satisfaction that you do nothing to give people a better opinion of the average 360 owner, and its bad enough to think most of them are pre teens who invent new cus words out of anger and love Halo enlessly.SPYDER0416

Halo and Half-Life do not compare at all - they are totally different type of games.
lol @ microsoft being innovative, i dont think so , he
how long was it that hard drives were available on ps2 detachable, since ffxiii to bad it didnt get much use
xbox live is nowhere better then psn , they are at this point in time very equal , but the difference is we dont pay for our service lol let alone wireless
on wii and ps3
the dc and ps2 also had free online play
lets see what else you listed oh halo 3 /gears are you forgeting they are not the first fpses on consoles ?
that would be doom then goldeneye
and compared to all 4 listed goldeneye and perfect dark are more funner to play at its time then these 4 are right now
did you bring up dlc , if so , ,
lets not forget how much of a ripoff this can be you used to be able to buy a game and it would have unlockable characters etc
now to unlock somthing extra you gotta shell out money for it
see how dlc can be the worst enemy at times, yes expansions are a different story like gta fallout
but new cars -especally noticable in test drive unlimited your only unlocking cars that were already programmed in the game
and re5s multiplayer modes , already were reportedly in the code when the game came out you just had to pay 5 for it to be unlocked
so ya i couldnt care less about dlc its not an inovative thing
as far as wireless controllers go i remember having ps1 controllers that were wireless , gc controller was wireless lol
and yet your giving microsoft props ,
i dont think so
natal is another one of these copy caters you may think its original but going back to the ps2 era , there was somting called eyetoy
it would do exacytly what natal is supposed to do , detect your body motions
you can say xbox 1 was revolutionary or innovative but xbox360 i dont think so its just an updated xbox1 it did nothing dfferent that couldnt be done last gen
the ps3 how ever is a good update to the ps2 and the wii is the most revolutionary console this gen
lets face the facts had wii not existed or duck hunt for that matter
i dont think microsoft or sony would be able to make a motion sensing controller because they would be afraid it wont sell ,
lol ya sixaxis is motion sensing but you cant say it was a success as much as wii was
so when you talk about i nnovation nintendo is the king on that
as far as mediums go give that to sony , they inforced compact disc well sorta becausenes had one in japan
then they enforced the dvd format
then they again enforced the bluray format
um and ya its the most rushed console ive ever seen , xbox rip-2001-2005 4 yrs instead of gamecube-2001-2007 (6) ps2 2000 -???? nearly 10 yrs still selling
and the failure rate isnt 33 percent its a whoping 54 percent ,
that warranty excuse can be used but guess what you dont get a new xbox360 you get yours back meaning they just replaced the melted thingys that caused the rrod in the first place and itll happen again and again and again
and once 3yrs is up -from time of purchase not from time of repair the first time ,
thats it
and ive never heard a console that sounded like a :attention flight 747 to seattle leaves in one hour
lol . ya seriously who heard a console as loud as a 747 on take off,

LOLLL, killzone 2 has its own customization abilities (different classes). New modes, amazing graphics and tone. This alone makes the whole gameplay seem different.
btw: killzone 2 is much different than cod4. When playing a real game, it requires skill withyour team to win.

A few console innovations because of the Xbox 360:
- Achievements. Gaming without achievements is no longer the same.
- Wireless controller standard
- Guide button
- Detachable hard drive
- Free three year warranty
- RTS, WRPGs and FPS that actually work on a console (incredible)
- Best controller ever
- Project Natal.... best non-controller ever
- Xbox Live Arcade
- Netflix
- Xbox Live Primetime (ie 1vs100)
- NXE
- XNA-GeordiLaForge-
Wow, this will be easy.
Wow, this will be easy.
Nothing RTS's work quite well on the 360, and FPS's shooters for consoles were revolutionized and perfected by Microsoft
Nice try though.
What... you play games for acheivements??? People could make there personal acheivements, it would be the same thing to me... it's pointless.
FPS was great on N64, X360 didn't add much except for online.

PS2 was so outdated it even only included 2 controller ports AND had no ethernet/hard drive!

nice opinion there, heres mine:
The PS3 is the most innovative console of all time
A few console innovations because of the Play station 3:
- free Online gaming experience which is at par with the 360
- ability to use a browser to go on msn, youtube, watch movies
- first console to include a blu-ray player
-Most innovative semi-motion controller which has SIXAXIS
- lightest controller that recharges and can be used from far away (blue tooth technology) with good dpad
- trophy system
- detachable hard drive
- upto 256 player onine gaming experience
- the ability to not use any sort of a warranty.

The greatest PS3 innovations:
- $599
- RIIIIDGE RACER!
- Losing Final Fantasy XIII, Tekken 6, GTAIV, Assassin's Creed, Ace Combat, Katamari Damacy, Guitar Hero, WWE vs. RAW, Virtua Fighter, Devil May Cry, etc. etc. as exclusives
- Getting owned in sales
- Mandatory installations

XBOX LIVE is worth the money.
I dont think this guy can comprehend the fact that FREE> FEE
So basically free food at the cafeteria is better than paid food at a nice restaurant, right?

You can say that again. >_>

That will always be the DualShock 2 to me.

The PS2 did it first with the EyeToy. Neither were/will be very good.

Lol you're comparing two entirely different things regarding taste. Obviously the paid food is better.
My point is that the play station network can do almost all the stuff the 360 does, and yet you treat it as something from last generation.
Please kid, if you're gonna say something, say something that actually has something to be argued against.

PSN is like the cafeteria food. Yeah, it gets the job done but you can pay for a better thing. PSN takes forever to load, you download more than play, installing demoes is hella annoying. Lack of features, no Netflix. And Xbox Live overall has a larger community. Plus PSN doesn't have Halo 3 or Gears of War or Left 4 Dead.

Right... that's why it's free for the PC.
Online is free for the Wii.
Online is free for the PS3.
Yes, it's really something innovative for the X360.
