Just face it. I don't think the 360's library is great. Hard to believe, I know. But there's nothing that makes me want to go buy it. Wasn't like that a year ago or the year before. Hence why I have a PS3.

I didn't just make a bad decision and am now trying to justify my purchase.

The only thing that would make do that is if both exclusives were lost. But even then, it still play Blu-ray movies, of which I have a large collection now, and several other "exclusive" titles coming out that catch my eye.

Looking at the revews for 8.0-9.6, I see shooters, rpgs, racing, puzzle, adventure games, guitar hero, RTS, platformers, flight sim, several sports titles, a survival horror (dead rising), arcade beat-em-up (Marvel Alliance), and several fighters. Of the 71 AA and AAA games, I count 15 shooters, hardly a majority. Other than some metro-sexual JRPG, what more do you want? I can't even think of other genres.

And how does the PS3 have such massive variety? Almost every PS3 game is on the 360. And the few exclusives are not exactly earth-shatteringly different.

Fair enough if you don't like what the games have to offer I can agree on that one, sometimes there is a AAA game which would not interest me but your original post had the tone of a fanboy compared to the reasons you are now giving them.

Yep, the 360 is all shooters. Forza, Mass Effect, PGR4 be damned. Kameo? Never existed. Dead Rising? Blasphomy! Nope, it's all Halo! Well, Bioshock too... but that's multiplat! Hell? Who cares! It's a FPS too! What? There are RPG elements? Doesn't matter! First Person view = FPS.
