When I look over this gen, of course I'll think of my favorite games (derp) . And sure, this list is opinioniated(slightly). But when you think of the best of this gen, you're going to want to think of games that truly show you want this gen can offer. Not just awesome games , games that conver " Hey, can you do this on a PS2/360/Wii?"

I think he was referring to the games that ultimately left their mark this gen more than anything, and really, these games are ultimately the one's people will remember the most(either because they won popularity contests or because they heavily influenced the gen).

Admitelly though, the list would require the likes of COD or Gears of War to be correct anyway.
