[QUOTE="froidnite"][QUOTE="my_name_is_ron"][QUOTE="froidnite"] It's better than not being able to play the game at all.
I know it's frustrating for console fanboys like you........but that's the way it's going to be.

i'm sure there's a fair few pc fanboys who have also posted in this thread.
that's the problem with having loyalty towards one platform - you miss out on the good games for the platform(s) you're too stupid to consider buying. i think pc's suffer from this condition more than consoles because they also have to deal with needing to be constantly upgraded to keep up with the increasing complexity of games. that's what scares me - and persumeably many others - off pc gaming. that and i'm not an fps or strategy (let's face it, the pc is drowning in these titles)game fan so feel there's no point in trying to get into pc gaming as the games i want to play are available on the much more straightforward consoles
I agree with the first part, people'll miss out on good games on other platforms bcos some are too stupid to buy them even if they can. THe second part is incorrect, you don't need to be constantly upgrading the computer to be able to play games.
PCs offer a lot more than RTS and FPS and the fact that you consider the contrary shows how little you know about PC as a gaming platform.
whether it's correct or not i think that's the common (mis)conception and what makes people avoid pcs for gaming unless you know what you're doing and are able to open up a pc, take stuff out andput newer stuff in with confidence. as for pc game selection, personally i enjoy racing, football (soccer if you're american), japanesestyle rpgs and adventure games. now correct me if i'm wrong but the last time i checked there were many many more of these types of games available for consoles and the one's available for pc were ports of the console games (prince of persia, gta, final fantasy, pro evolution soccer).
i think the reason why there's so many fps's, strategy and mmorpgs for pc is because they're better to control using a keyboard and mous.
apologies if this stereotypical view of mine isn't right. please prove me wrong...
What if the underlined games are ports, they were good ports (atleast POP and GTA were). There are many small budget adventure games on the PC that you won't get on consoles.
Eventhough I agree K/M is not the best for games beside FPS, RTS you can always plug in ur fav controller to the PC.
As for racing games, there are many awesome PC racing games and some of them are exclusive to PC
