That's completely irrelevant. The PC is a continuous platform; uninterupted by "generations".
The original poster is trying to say that instead of games being dumbed down and ported to consoles, it feels like more and more games are being ported to the PC from consoles. I was saying that it's no suprise devs cater to console gamers, being there is alot more money in console releases than on the PC.

I'll say it again, cross platform development is developers spreading their games out to reach the biggest possible audience, it has 'absolutely nothing' to do with favouring one platform above others. You are actually suggesting that a cross platform game that is coming out on PS3/360/PC is favouring consoles over PC, last I check consoles don't have exclusive access to these games either; everyone is losing exclusivity of a title to each other.
How can anyone say a title not being exclusive to PC is a sign of weakness when it isn't exclusive to consoles either? Absolutely ridicules and stinking of bias, you are probably confusing targeting the lowest common denominators with console favouritism.
