Digital Foundry disagree. According to them (real tech experts), Crysis 2 on the Xbox 360 is in the forefront of technical graphics. Crysis 2 > Killzone 3 technically.

So pretty much 77% of SW thinks the difference, if you think it exists, is really not important.

And I'd agree. I don't really think anyone should be deciding between buying either on the graphics.

That's an odd way to word the question. On their own, the consoles do nothing. Some PS3 games have better graphics than any 360 game, but that number isn't so large that the blanket statement in the OP is completely justified.

Still, the games speak for themselves.

I will say this: Crysis 2 is the best-looking console game that runs at 16-20 frames per second. That said, all MS has to do is make an exclusive that runs at 5 frames per second, putting all that lost performance power into visuals alone. Then they will have the undisputed console graphics king by far! :P

Im surprised to see so many ppl who still think PS3 is more powerfull than 360!!! Thats obviously not true and if it was, PS3 would be giving a terrible example. Why would most console games (even the best looking one) look and perform worse on the most powerfull system?

Dude, even if 360 had an exclusive with Crysis 1 graphics, Sony fans would still be saying PS3 was more powerfull. This 'war' is not about logic anymore :P

TC, this poll will change nothing. People will still argue over which one has better graphics with things such as "But, that game has better colors for shadows!"

Crysis 2 on 360, Killzone 3 on PS3... both look great (even tho I still think Crysis 2 360 edges it out)... but as Lincoln Park says, in the end, it doesn't even matter... both are very inferior to PC - ask my GTX 460 :)

I feel like the 360 is very consistent graphically while the PS3 sees sharp spikes. So the best looking games of the gen, I believe, are on PS3, but on average the 360 has the edge.

You never said anything about LoT :? I was simply wondering if you had proof, and was in no way arguing what you said. I haven't even played Crysis 2 yet.

The Lens of Truth article is interesting, but from the screens most of it would simply come down to preference. Crysis 2 obviously has more pop-in and screen tear which detracts from the experience.

Either way, you have yet to prove this:
