Because when it "dies" you wait ten days and then get it back. RROD is an annoyance, not a dealbreaker. Too many fanboys act like once your 360 RROD's that's it. It's dead. That isnt the case at all.
Mine has RROD'd three times. The first i was pretty much expecting it, the second annoyed me and the third REALLY annoyed me as i'm finally off for a month and was looking forward to playing some games. Still, it never took them more than 10 days to take it and return it, so it's hardly an epic problem for me. Just irritating and disappointing from an otherwise fantastic system.

c'mon man, u waited about 30 days in total cus u bought an unreliable console, honestly I think all the three companys this gen are looking down on us!!
Xbox360: RRoD, Wii: no much hardcore games with weak hardware , PS3 : loaded with many great stuff that aren't necessary for gamers which made it expensive, so it's not mainly for gamers.
You guys say, "Buy a warranty". Well, even with a warranty, you still have to return the console. That means losing all data on your HDD. You would have to backup all your installations/game saves somehow or ask the people to switch your HDDs.
To all the 360 fanboys-- Would you have baught the console when it came out if they told you there was a 33% that your console would die? world69star69
Given that many bought their system after launch, yes they would and they did. an dno, they wouldn't take this from any other console. I remember last gen when all these lemmings jumped ship from PS2 to xbox purely because of the hardware problems. It's pure blind loyalty to Microsoft.
